After having the originals for backpacking I decided to try these lighter ones for travel. The thinner fabric with flatter seams and better waistband are nearly perfect. I used these for 2 weeks walking all over Italy. I have skinny legs which is probably why the leg portion rode up a bit under my shorts as the days went by walking. I think they lose a slight amount of stretch back after wearing a while. But that is due to thin fabric I think. Still they were 100 times better than cotton for so much walking, and I had zero chafing, which is a problem for me in hot walking all day conditions. Also, these kept me much dryer. I would buy again as they are the best I have found so far.

I have spent a lifetime (40s) looking for the 'right' pair of boxers. I have tried many different brands over this time (cheap and costly, silly fashionable one like Calvin Klein to sport geared stuff from Under Armor) and have never found one that met all my needs. Waistbands are always uncomfortable (I'm not doughy, waistbands are not kind to me), some fabrics are to thick and non-breathable; some do not hold up to wear and tear of my highly active job and fitness profile. None pair was ever that 'glass slipper' for me. But I'm tenacious and ever on the hunt for comfort...then...BAM...enter Exoffcio. Finding this particular pair of boxers is now a high point in my life...I cannot believe such a creation exists. The waistband is the single best waistband I have ever found on men's underwear. Solid enough to keep things in place, even against the most physical activity (hiking, running are mine), but still loose and non-pinch -these things are the most flattering pair of undies I have ever worn for my love handles. The length is appropriate and mid thigh, dueling seams on the rear prevent a wedgie under any condition, and the fly.....WOW. The caressing pouch is supportive enough for running/sports, but rather non compressive on anything - it's an oddly refreshing situation there as I've grown so used to things being somewhat tight/squished with a number of brands lacking a discrete 'pouch'. My junk is rather average, but my jaw dropped, my wife's jaw also very literally dropped at how complementary this pouch is. Plus there is a fly - I see this missing in men's underwear with surprising frequency nowadays...I did not realize how much I have missed this simple feature. I find the fabric to be light, barely noticeable and extremely breathable. These things stay dry. But, the material is very durable when cared for as directed. I treat these things like the most delicate family heirloom - even the Mrs. knows to make sure these things do not get abused when washing/drying and they have served me incredibly well. And cost - seriously worth every cent compared to other on the market. Thank you Exofficio!! You have exceeded my crazy high and unrealistic expectations and have earned a loyal customer. I cannot express my appreciation enough, these undies are life-changing.

Great pair of underwear; currently my favorite. I was hesitant to try it despite a lot of praise for the brand, but I bought two pairs to try before I commit to more.I brought them to my Iceland trip and it was comfortable and dries really quick. Definitely good for camping or backpacking to rotate between two.Very comfortable, soft feeling material, good stretch, and is not constricting for me.I tried the Everlane cotton boxer briefs, Uniqlo Airism underwear, Pair of Thieves, All Citizens, and I believe Champion. I anticipate to slowly replace all of my underwear with this ExOfficio underwear. If anyone else is on the fence, definitely give this one a try.

I’ve worn these boxer briefs for many years and loved them. They fit so well and dry quicker than any other underwear I’ve tried. BUT, something has changed and it’s not good. The fit and the feel is not what it used to be. The thighs are extremely tight now and the back cut is much lower, showing my crack the second I start to bend over. And that’s after deciding to size UP on this last order. Not to mention how scratchy the material now is. I’m so disappointed ExOfficio has ruined these underwear.
I just returned from a two week trip to France and took 4 pair of these. They were fantastic! First, the lightweight fabric meant they took up almost no room in my bag. I like to travel light so that was very important to me. But more importantly, the underwear are extremely comfortable! I had no problems with the waistband flipping or any riding up. We walked at least 6 miles a day and I was always comfortable and dry. Finally, it was so easy to wash them in the sink and hang them to dry. They’d be dry and ready to wear the next morning. I’d buy them again in a heartbeat!
These are among the most comfortable underwear I've ever tried. I normally do not like boxer briefs, preferring traditional boxers for comfort. My experience with boxer briefs in the past is that they are too tight and therefore uncomfortable. However, I'm going on a two week trip before the end of the year and needed some easily packable and washable underwear to take along. Cotton boxers just don't fit the bill for that. They take up too much room in your pack and dry very slowly when handwashed. After trying these I may end up wearing them all the time not just when traveling. I'm a 34 waist but ordered a large and that ended up being perfect. They're not too tight yet are supportive and comfortable. After a while I forget they're there. I'm a 34 waist but ordered a large and that ended up being perfect. They're not too tight yet are supportive and comfortable. After a while I forget they're there. That comfort is a big plus when spending hours on a plane in addition to the easy of laundering and drying them. All in all, I'm very happy with these and will probably order a couple more pair before my trip.
I was expecting the material to be the same as all their other products. It is not infact the same. The print completely reduced the wicking quality and made them hot and uncomfortable. if these were the first ones I bought from exofficio then I would never buy their product again. Highly dissatisfied. Customer service offered me a 20% coupon then I mentioned it. Poor cust service
I've worn these boxer briefs for probably 6-8 years now. Previous years, I would've easily given them a 5 star review. I bought 2 new pair this spring. They fit the same in the legs, butt & crotch and I haven't had issues with them rising up. But, the waistband seems to have changed. It didn't immediately feel stiffer, but the waistband on both pairs is prone to bunching up, which is frustrating. Since it doesn't feel stiffer, I'm wondering if the waist is cut just a bit larger than previous years, which would cause it to bunch more.
I’ve had these briefs over 8 years ie no real wear and tear. Recently, I ordered 4 pair to add to my collection. The Give - In- Go 6 “ 2.0 sport mesh are the only ones I’ll wear. They’re very durable, no chaffing, cool in humid climates, and a superb fit. I’m 6 ft, 207 lbs, pants waist size 33, a consistent gym goer, so I always get the large ie true to fit. Usually, I’ll order quite a few on Black Friday. In a nutshell, these are my go to sports briefs I’ll wear. I stand behind the product as a customer x 8 years. I highly recommend these briefs and building a collection.
They're still a cut above other brands of underwear, however, I feel that the quality of Exofficio briefs has gone down dramatically. I previously owned the older, V1, version of these without the pouch. They lasted longer, didn't pill, and didn't ride up, all of which the V2 does. The sizing is also different, the new medium feels tighter to me than the old small, which defeats the point of why I bought a new set in the first place. Given the price and the fact that I'm stuck with them I'm going to keep them and wear them, their certainly better than a basic cotton brief off the rack.
