Travel is fun but not when you have to lug around a big case of clothing, and that is where ExOfficio comes to the rescue. The Give-N-Go brief is only the beginning of the story. For a three week trip I packed three pair of these quick-dry brief and threw into the travel case a couple of ExOfficio shirts, a pair of shorts and two pair of long pants, a Henley shirt and windbreaker and I was out the door. There was plenty of room for the shave kit and a coupe of travel books. My ExOfficio wardrobe started with briefs but soon grew to include many travel ready garments and travel became easier and more fun. Thanks ExOfficio.

I really really liked the former ExOfficio full men's briefs. So much so that I bought 20 of them. They are all that I wear. I recently bought the "new" ExOfficio full briefs which are made of a softer, slinkier material which I absolutely do not like. Also, the waistband is not as elastic as the original brief. If I ran your company, I would offer the "Classic" full brief and the "New" full brief. As of my last purchase, I am sorry to say but you have lost me as a customer. If you bring back your original brief, I would come back in a heartbeat.

Excellent but Very Expensive

I have worn Exofficio briefs for my athletic training and competitions for many years. They have been very good briefs. Supportive, breathable and comfortable. They last, but not as long as the ads say. You'll buy these more than you like. But - the price is very high. I guess I/we male athletes are used to it. We have very few or no choices. Road Runner no longer makes theirs available. I guess I will keep spending the high prices. No choice. But seriously, made in Cambodia. There is about a half yard of polyester and then some elastic for the legs and waist. Really $20 for one pair??My wife can get breathable, polyester briefs that hold up and work very well from several places - about 4-5 for $15. I'm always a bit skeptical about "women's" style outdoor gear. And in buying this shirt, I was no different. Because I'm pretty darn curvy and often times, women's styles in the outdoor industry don't work for me. But I thought I'd give it a go and return it if it didn't work.I spend a lot of time between 7500 and 13000 ft in the Rockies. And especially in the summer, the evenings are chilly and have enough mosquitoes to carry off a calf moose. So I was looking for something that was a bit heavier weight that was for in camp after the sun starts to set behind the peaks and would help the suffer fest of mosquitoes be more tolerable. This shirt exceeded and surpassed my honestly low expectations. It kept me warm in cooler temps but still allowed for good use during the day without over heating (in temps max around 70F with low activity). It kept the mosquitoes off like a boss! I was pleasantly surprised by the overall fit. The only thing that I would say didn't work great for me is that the overall fit was great (for my curvy self), but the shoulders and upper arms were a little snug and restricted movement at times. Which is really one reason why I gave it 4/5 stars.Otherwise, this is a great shirt and I would highly recommend it. I also like the feminine yet not overtly girly color options. Because I'm honestly over having only white, pink, and purple gear. I need things that can get dirty and still wash out nice. That would be my other reason for the 4 is to recommend some more darker colors that don't show grit and dirt as much.

Four years??? Can't complain
26 October 2021

So, I'm wearing my ExO briefs about one or two days every other week, as I use these when playing Pickleball(and I rotate through maybe 8 pairs of ExOs mixed with REI brand and one or two others). I originally bought them for cycling; but Pball has taken over my "athletic life". These are light enough to wear with shorts that have a 'liner'; but substantial enough to wear with shorts that don't have any brief/liner. Unfortunately, my oldest ExOs are failing at the waistband and I have to carefully choose which ones I can wear with which shorts. I reckon I'm an actual XL; but have one pair of XXL that really aren't that much larger(not in the waist anyway; but they are bigger overall and feel better under cargo shorts, etc). The sagging waistbands in a couple of pairs stand in contrast to the near pristine appearance of the rest of the brief(s). I do like the slight texture to the material and general fit of the XL(I'm 42w); although the XXL is OK(and was easier to find in stock on occasion). They get laundered with Ecos natural detergent and hung to dry(indoors). All-in-all, I have to say I'm pleased...but a little disappointed that 2-3 pairs have reached their end of life.By the bye, the sizing options offered below don't apply to these briefs.

Great Function And Comfort

These underwear are simply amazing. (Note: The rest of this paragraph has details that might not appeal to everyone; if you're easily grossed out, the summary is that these underwear stay incredibly clean and fresh far longer than anything else I've ever owned.) I've now worn them on two (wilderness) backpacking trips now, and I can't believe what I experienced. I would normally never consider wearing the same pair of underwear for two days, especially on a backpacking trip. However, on my first trip, at the end of the first day, I noticed that things weren't too bad, so I decided to give them one more day. Even at the end of the second day, they were shockingly un-nasty. I then wore my second pair for two more days, one of which involved an 11-mile, 4000-ft climb ... MoreThese underwear are simply amazing. And the same thing on the second trip again. I'd estimate that these underwear stay clean 3-4x longer than a normal pair of cotton or cotton-spandex boxer briefs (which is what I usually wear). To make these even more amazing, they are extremely comfortable. They have a nice stretch, they offer great support, and they're not too tight around the thighs. My only complaint is that they're significantly "high rise" - if I pulled them up they'd go above my belly button. I'd much prefer it if they were medium-rise. But, I can't complain, because functionally, these underwear are simply from the year 2100.

My favorite underwear.
24 July 2022

This is the only pair of underwear I own that matches the most important feature I believe is required in underwear . To keep your junk in a comfortable, steady space. Unlike other underwear, I never find myself shifting things, no rubbing, or pulling. Exofficio is cut in a way where they are firm against one’s bottom structure, yet soft and supple around our sensitive items. Love it for walking, sitting and hiking. The perfect underwear.

Stitching unravels
24 November 2022

I purchased these briefs for my husband within the last few months, as he likes the comfort of the quick-dry fabric for travel and outdoor activities. Unfortunately, the stitching around the waist starts to unravel within a few washes, creating holes. This necessitates me having to hand sew a continuous stitch around the waist line to prevent further unraveling and holes. This has happened to every pair I have purchased, and I am greatly disappointed in the subpar quality of the stitching in an otherwise premium pair of underwear!

The BEST briefs out there
17 September 2022

These briefs are the best! Their design has addressed all the issues that made older briefs not a first choice. The material allows proper ventilation so there is no moisture buildup leading to dreaded jock rash. They are light to the point where you almost don’t realize your wearing them. There durable and stay looking new for a very long time. All of this can be summed up as a great value. This is the only brand/style I will buy. Thank you ExOfficio!
