I purchased this to inflate my Downmat UL 7. This amazing ultralight and ultrawarm sleeping pad doesn't have an integrated pump like many of the exped products. Since it is filled with down and I don't want to blow into it too many days in a row, I purchased this pump to inflate it with.It needs to sit outside it's stuff sack for a few minutes before you can use it so the foam core inflates, but it works great once fluffed up. The pad works best if it sits for a few minutes too, so I just unpack them together. It's small and light, only adds a few oz to my gear and when I'm not on a trip where I'm shedding ever ounce I can, this is a perfect accessory.

Nice small, light weight hand pump to top off the exped. Easy enough to store in the pad bag. My daughters like to use it as well. Will be looking at your site again soon!

This is a good reliable pump to pump up those air mattresses. It's about 15cm in diameter, it doesn't push quit as much air as I would've liked, but it's lighter than battery operated ones and I'm not worried about any batteries running out.

Although the pump does what it says on the tin it is small and takes a lot of pumping to fill up a sleeping mat but it does get there. It works with a Trekology UL80 Sleeping MaT

Much Better Than the Schnozzel
20 December 2021

I have an Exped Synmat, and it came with a pump bag, the Exped Schnozzel. The difficulty with the schnozzel is that you need some room in your tent to fill it with air. While sitting in a small 1-2 person tent, it is near impossible to fill the schnozzel . I bought the Exped mini pump to solve this problem, and it solved the problem nicely. You can use your hands or a foot to on this pump to inflate your Exped mat inside a confined tent. I’ll probably quit using the schnozzel altogether. I was hoping that the mini pump would fit inside the carry bag for my my mat, but unlike the schnozzel, there isn’t room enough room to store both the mat and the mini pump. No big deal though. It doesn’t take long to fill up an Exped Synmat.

Rather to have this than running out of air
2 April 2014

After a few times camping out, blowing the pad is running out air in my lungs. After the pad is aired up, my head feels high and little dizzy. When it hits me, I have decided to get a pump before I pass out on the next camping trip. ,,,,It's worth getting the pump. Fairly small and extremely light weighted. You won't regret ordering it, because it will save you from passing out.

Only takes a few pumps to top off a megamat duo. Obviously you don’t have many options for exped mats but this mini pump absolutely gets the job done.

Works great
6 November 2020

I bought my father the deep sleep exped but was originally unaware that it didn’t come with this pump. I find it a tad ridiculous that they don’t come together- it comes with the Exped MegaMat- then again this probably is more of a complaint for the Exped company. Product works great though!

Works with thermarests after adjustment
5 May 2014

I got this because my lungs were tired of inflating my neoair thermarest...that coupled with the fact that with the thin matieral of the neoair xlite, you can see all the little water droplets that form from your humid breaths...gross! This can become an issue in freezing environments and can deteriorate the material if not managed. Mold does not belong in my expensive thermarest, just air. The pr

This thing is small and so lightweight that it is hardly there. I bought it for the Exped synmat7ul. I had seen a review tha said it didn't work and was a waste of money but that person must be an idiot because it worked and was so simple. No, it's not going to pump up the mat in 2 seconds but it didn't take that long. Maybe a minute. Great because no moisture gets in the mat from your breath. It fit back in it's own tiny stuff sack or in the sack with the pad. It even came with a patch kit!
