I have seen this game around for a while but always thought it would be some morbid game with a name like exploding kittens. Oh how wrong I was. I'm just disappointed I waited this long to actually try playing it. My eight year old loved playing it as well as the adults. We can't get enough of it! Glad we were able to get the party pack so more can play at one time.

This exploding Kittens game is really fun! You can play with up to 10 people. This game is suitable to play with your kids, and adults, too! Even my six year old could play. It really isn't a complicated game so you can start playing in no time. There are many different cards and the goal is quite simple - be the last one to explode. The card design is also really cool and cute - sometimes the drawings include funny things. Also, whenever you open the box, music will play (the music sounds cool, too). It is light sensitive, so, if you open the box in a dark area, you won't hear the music. There are certain cards for 2 players, 4 players, etc. Overall, the game is really fun and well designed.

We love this game! It’s always changing, requires a little bit of strategy (and some luck) and is enjoyable for a wide variety of people. Every time with play this with friends, they end up buying the game as well. The party pack is a little more expensive but has more variety for play, especially with bigger groups. You can use the cards marked one way for groups of 4 or less, cards marked the other way for groups of 5-7 and all the cards for groups of 8-10. It was worth the extra money for this version, as we have used it with all the sizes of groups and really wanted to be able to use it with extended family. The smaller pack doesn’t work for larger groups, so in my opinion, this one is the way to go. Buy it now, play later and try not to EXPLODE!
