We had a separate oven and hotplates but decided to go with a 900mm oven and hotplate combo so started our search. I hadn't heard of the Flacon brand before but when I started comparing the different models and read other testimonials I decided that the Falcon was the one to go with - and I do not regret that decision one little bit. The gas elements cook evenly and are great to get good heat control - I left a pasta sauce cooking accidentally the other night and when I remembered at 3am I raced to the kitchen to turn it off. I have used the automatic time to turn on the oven when I was out and it worked like a charm and was quite easy to work out from the instructions. On top of loving to cook with my new oven it is also great to clean - the steel rims around the hotplates come off easily for washing and the black surface just wipes off beautifully. I highly recommend this Falcon oven to anyone considering a changeover.

Love my new stove. I am passionate about cooking. Stand out features to me are the door rack on the main oven. Love the long small oven. Use it all the time for just the two of us. Then when we have dinner party's every shelf and oven is used. Just so versatile. Husband loves the griller for he's cheese on toast. Yes I do let him use my pride and joy. The quality finish is exceptional. We have an old miners cottage which we have done up so the amazing look of this Falcon suits us down to a tee. The warranty service with this company is above and beyond. Could recommend this stove or company without a doubt to be the best I have ever used and dealt with. Cant wait for you to enjoy this experience as well.

After a very long wait due to the effects of Covid, we finally took possession of our 90cm Classic Deluxe Slate and Chrome Dual Fuel Cooker. I have wanted a Falcon oven for as long as I can remember and it was certainly worth the wait! Quality workmanship and it looks fantastic. The slate is slightly matte in colour and does not show up any fingerprints or marks. Both ovens are quick to heat up, the main oven even more so with its Rapid Heat function. On first use we cooked a slow cooked brisket which was well cooked and amazingly tender. I love the telescopic rails on the grill, helping the grilling tray slide in and out with ease. We love it!!

Good solid cooker. Nothing flash but does what it does well. However, control knobs are an ergonomic disaster. They have black print on a chromed surface making them impossible to read. The knobs, whilst well built, are made of several parts and have numerous nooks and crannies meaning they are difficult to keep clean. Oven also does not have a specific grilling function other than placing food on the top tray of the main oven. A pretty major omission really. Purchased from Wininings who were great.
We replaced a fisher and paykel which was useless. We had it looked at under warranty and it took over 1/2 an hour to get to temperature but when it got there stayed over that temperate for 5 minutes after that - going over that temperature but within "tolerances" That means that there was nothing wrong with it as far as they were concerned. I hated cooking with it, food was either underdone or burnt and it took so long to cook anything. In two years I did not get a roast that was not either burnt or undercooked - I ended up using an electric frypan instead So I saved up and replaced it with my dream oven I LOVE THIS OVEN!!! it is so awesome and the induction is so good to cook with - so fast and a dream to clean! I am so happy I bought this.

I've been cooking on and in the Nexus Steam for 6 months now. The critical bits for me were convection and steam ovens and the burners - including the wok burner. All perform flawlessly and do a better job than other any ovens or burners I've used previously. The additional flexibility of the grill and griddle and dough warmer (I chuck the plates in there during winter!) just add to the utility - and enjoyment - I get out of cooking with the Nexus. It is beautifully finished, cleans up easily and looks fantastic. The clever height adjustment also made getting the oven level and to the correct height simple and very easy. All in all, I couldn't be happier. A fantastic purchase and one that will give me abundant joy cooking for as long as I'm able! Highly recommended. :)

But even better than its obvious good looks is the fact that it cooks superbly. I consider that I have a "working domestic kitchen", meaning that I use the cooker at least three times a day and will do a roast two or three times a week. So I have really put my cooker through its paces. The cooker has never let me down and it has features which have been carefully thought out and which I really appreciate. Having oven doors which open to the sides makes the ovens easy to use (and to clean) and the configuration of two ovens plus a separate griller is perfect for me. On the main oven there is a Rapid Response setting which brings the oven up the temperature you want and it is amazingly fast. I use this constantly and my husband loves it because he was very impatient with our previous oven's slow warm up (even though it was touted as having a speedy warm up). On the right side oven, even though it doesn't have the Rapid Response setting, it is still a very fast warm up to the set temperature. So I would suggest that if you are looking at different models, pick one that has the Rapid Response as its really handy. The gas cook top is well laid out and lights easily. My cooker came with 2 great cook top accessories (griddle and wok burner) and I have used both many times. I have had several large family gatherings, where all the cooking was done on the Falcon, with all ovens and cook top being used and everything was cooked perfectly. All done exactly to the times set out in my recipes with no need to compensate for oddities in the cooker, which I have had to do in the past with previous cookers, even though they were expensive top name European appliances. The Handy Rack feature is ok for smaller roasts but I found that if I have a larger roast that I do not use it. It is a great idea though and I have used it, just not as often as I thought I would. The programmable oven has everything I need and nothing I don't. Last but not least, because my Falcon is enamel it is really easy to clean! Before buying this cooker I read a LOT of reviews for cookers which had similar features to the Falcon and Falcon consistently got 5 star rave reviews. Now I understand why and happily add my voice to those who are singing its praises. I really do love my cooker. It works as well as it looks.
Great looking stove, I had wanted one for years, at age 72, I finally got my wish, and purchased one regardless of the very high price.. Sorry to say, there are a few negatives that I have found. I am very disappointed with the backing plate at wall. This stove was so expensive I didn’t think that the heat coming up from the oven at the back, going to the exhaust fan would wipe out the Falcon splash back (Classic 90) sign on the stove… The print is wiping off when being cleaned. I’m too scared to wipe it.. For the price, it should have a metal badge that doesn’t ware off. Also very hard to see if gas griller is on. Very hard for older people like myself to bend down and trying to see. Also I cannot understand why there is a big opening in gas section of oven where ... The aftersales service was really good. I had a few issues - cooker not level, fan very loud and ignition not working and the guy came and fixed them immediately. It's now working as intended. The cooktop is easy to clean and the Andi people sent me a list of products to use to clean all the different surfaces, which I found very helpful. It does the best roast vegetables. It's not self cleaning and the oven shelves are a bit flimsy, but easily removed for cleaning with the products advised. All problems I had were happily dealt with and the cooker is now a happy member of the family.
