Wow. We are now 8 weeks into our Falcon cooker relationship and she has not disappointed. From the perfect finish inside and out, to the easy to use ovens and grill. Pizza is perfect every time and my roast veggies are next level. The biggest surprise is how little we use our bbq now. We have a big green egg smoker and bbq, but the falcon oven cooks everything so easily and to perfection, and it’s a bit easier than using the smoker/bbq. Mostly, we love love love the teppanyaki plate. We use this morning and night for a quick break fast fry up or an easy hot plate with dinner. I’m so happy with this oven after saving so long for it - what a dream come true!

Bought new and installed in December. The Induction cooktop is great, heaps of room for bigger pots etc. The two ovens work fantastic. The convection oven is fabulous for baking and even grilling, I haven't needed the grill at all. The fan forced oven is great for roasts although the fan is making a vibration noise which I need to follow up with supplier. We also purchased the Falcon Rangehood to match but it is very noisy and nothing special. Wished I purchased the silent range with the motor in the ceiling/roof.

I like most people, research my large appliance purchases pretty thoroughly, this being a big one for us, 10 Grand for an oven seemed so over the top, given originally we were looking at around 4 Grand max. Well, can honestly tell you all now, best $10 grand we spent, beautiful product, supreme construction, and every usual requirement for an oven, has been obviously carefully thought through, and implemented into the build. Usually when a recipe heat calls for 180, we only JUST set ours to 140, and everything is just beautifully cooked, the ovens, yes, both of them are simply amazing, down to the left ovens swing out basting tray, just awesome. I Can't fault this product even at the price point, as I completely feel vindicated by the build and operational quality. ... MoreI like most people, research my large appliance purchases pretty thoroughly, this being a big one for us, 10 Grand for an oven seemed so over the top, given originally we were looking at around 4 Grand max. Now I know that simply by upgrading my cooker to this beauty hasn't made me a better cook or better at cooking, but it has improved my ability cook because I want to use every function this bad-boy has to offer! Considering that a cooker is one of the few tools or pieces of equipment most people use daily in their lives, it should absolutely be really high quality - the best that you can afford at any one time. And for me, this is it! This cooker is genuinely beyond remarkable. Using it inspires me to be conscious of my health and eat better
This is the second Falcon stove I have owned. I farewelled the first when I recently sold my house and it was certainly the feature that received the most comments. Now that I am renovating again and comparing stoves the quality of the Falcon compared to its competitors sets it apart. I never had any trouble with my first Falcon. It was easy to clean and the surface was as good on the day I left as the day I first purchased it. The ovens cooked evenly and I could easily adjust the heat/gas on all the burners on the cooktop. I would have liked a long fish burner instead of the wok burner but that is simply because I don't tend to use a wok and am always cooking for a crowd. The salesmen too admitted they rarely have to return Falcon's for repair unlike some of the ... MoreThis is the second Falcon stove I have owned. I love my Falcon
Bought this for our newly renovated home as we wanted to invest in the kitchen. The 12591 NEXSE110DFCB/CH NEXUS SE 110 DUAL FUEL CHARCOAL BLACK (to be specific) is perfect for what we need. Having had a Rangemaster in the past I know the functions that we needed, and wanted 2 medium rather than a single double width. We have used everything bar the induction plate. So far the quality shines. Ovens come up to temterature fast. The gas burners are efficient with an even flame and easy to make small adjustments to. This was not the cheapest applience but worth the money nonetheless. Recommended.
I bought this oven a few months ago, having had the same one for 20 years. It was a big decision to change brands but knowing it was so well made and had so many features, it was a great step up. Every day I use different parts of the oven; from the bread proving drawer for my Friday loaf, the wok burner for dinners or the hot plate for a fry up. I roast my chicken or veg in the door of the oven so I have three shelves I can use and the rapid heating for the oven means I can get it to the right temp much faster. I love this cooker and look forward to having it for another 20 years!
I’ve only given this cooker 4 stars, but compared to any other cooker I’ve owned or used (quite a lot) it’s definitely 5 star. I wouldn’t want to put you off buying it, but I do feel there are a couple of points where it let’s itself down, hence 4 stars and on a bad day I could say 3. So, I guess it’s 4 stars compared to what it could be rather than comparing to a different cooker.Okay, start with the good. It’s a gas cooktop that can simmer properly. Probably the only one I’ve ever used.It has a proper fan oven and a multifunction oven that, of course, includes a fan oven but also all the other ways of using it. Probably the only one I’ve ever used.It has a proper fan oven and a multifunction oven that, of course, includes a fan oven but also all the other ways of using it. When I say ‘a proper fan oven’, I mean something better than the fan-assisted junk a lot of makers use just as a selling point. I can put 4 trays of bread rolls in one oven and have them cook evenly. The fan ovens are amazingly quiet and they heat up quickly - astonishingly quickly with rapid heat on. I have had to drop the temperature and the cooking time of all the breads I make by quite a large amount. The oven timer is easy to set.Really, anything I don’t mention below is very good or excellent and I recommend this cooker - especially if you bake a lot.A tip: I renewed my bottle gas regulator and the medium sized gas burner now boils a litre of water 40 seconds more quickly. Of course, it’s noticeable in other cooking too.Two things that I really don’t like and that could be improved.1: There is a very attractive towel rail along the front of the cooker. It looks great in the shop. At home it’s a different story. It obscures the controls and lights along the front and it’s a lot worse when there are towels or cloths hanging on it. I just left it off otherwise it makes the cooker very difficult to use: I had to keep bending down to see what the controls were set to.2: The trivet or pan support is one where it’s easy to put down a smallish pot or pan (or slide it to somewhere) and have it tip. This is really bad and even Smeg can get that right these days, so surely Falcon could. Also, and a lot less important, the top of the trivet/support is made of castings which aren’t quite flat so pans can wobble a bit - not really a problem.A couple of even less important thingsThe timer beeper is too quiet to hear.I don’t like the gap between the oven temperature dials and the mark showing the temperature - anyway why not digital controls these days? There’s no backup power for the clock. Every time the power goes off, the clock has to be reset. You can’t use the ovens without setting the clock. Surely that’s pretty easy to install. If you like cooking and have the room and the money, go for this. It’s a really great cooker.
We purchased our Dual Fuel Range Cooker in September 2019 and it has been simply marvellous.A very small number of online reviews at that time were somewhat critical but we knew friends who'd made this purchase and were ecstatic at their choice as were their own friends who'd also bought this model. We have not regretted it for one moment. It's a breeze to clean, and 18 months later it still looks like new despite its heavy use in a family of 6 where three people are regularly cooking and one baking. The brass work is unmarked, and like new, despite some critics raising doubts about its durability. This is a wonderful asset in the kitchen, plus it looks wonderful too, particularly in a period or country kitchen. I have wanted a Falcon for such a long time. Now that I have one, it is even better than I imagined! I’ve been baking bread, cooking for the family, and enjoying the efficiency and space of the two ovens. The griddle is an unexpected delight; easy to use and super easy to clean. Best thing is the even bake of the lemon meringue pie. I genuinely have no complaints.
