Falke Men's Sensitive London Navy Mel Socks - Tip Top Shoes of New York 47-50 / Blue

I was disappointed in these for several reasons. First, the sizing is off - both socks were too large, and one was larger than the other. Second, the top cuffing is too weak, and the socks don’t stay up the calf well as a result. The material is nice, but the build is a let down.

Only pair of dress socks I'll wear. Bought my first pair of the "sensitive" style of Falke socks and they are the best. The too of the socks does not dig into your calves and they always stay up. Nice, thin fabric yet well made. All Falke socks are worth the money but I'll always choose the sensitive for dress socks.

Originally bought a pair of these socks on sale. Since then, the only brand i buy. The "sensitive" labels don't bind and cut off circulation on my shins yet hold up well.

These are excellent socks. I need left-and-right socks to fit over my bunions, and these are the most comfortable I have tried. They have clearly changed the design since my last lot (I have had two previous batches): these Falke London socks are a bit thinner than they were before, so my feet feel looser in my shoes. Not necessarily a bad thing, just different. The quality still seems high. I have found that they wear well, typically lasting about three or four years in constant circulation; we will see whether the new version is as durable. They are also stretchier, shinier and much bigger than before. My feet are about 10.5 UK, and I have bought Falke's 47-50 Euro size in the past. The new ones are a good couple of inches longer than the old ones (!) so ideally ... MoreThese are excellent socks. I had ignored the Sock Shop website size conversion advice, based on my previous experience, but perhaps it is now about right.
For my partner. I bought them in the next size range up from his foot size.Lovely texture and soft. The tailoring is extremely good. The band is gentle, without elastic, and not too constrictive. His comment: "It's like having your foot inside a snake."Even so they are VERY fitted and were a struggle to get on. His legs and ankles were mildly swollen. If they were in the state they get to with more severe oedema there is no way these socks would be usable.
