Our cats like this ok. BUT, they tend to lick the gravy and leave the chunks. We've tries mashing the chunks with a spoon or fork and mix with the gravy, but the pieces are almost a rubbery texture and even after trying to mash it in a blender, there are still chunks and we could feel hard bits of gravel when we tried just using our fingers to mush the bits. For those who don't know, male cats need plenty of water and in late stages of life to keep them healthy. My cat Pickles began eating this daily when he was maybe around 8. He also lost a lot of his teeth as he aged so he could only really eat wet food. He never gained a lot of weight, he was always a healthy weight (maybe a bit chunky lol but not unhealthy). He loved his fancy feast more than anything. He was diagnosed at 17 with late stage kidney failure and my vet had given him a different wet food to eat but he hated it. He would only eat fancy feast, which was fine because cats who have kidney failure need a lot of water and just NEED to eat and eat he did, even until his last day he ate his fancy feast. Everyone loves this

I received samples for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own. I've got the Fancy Feast Classic, Grilled Seafood, and Grilled Tuna In Gravy. They came in well packed. The size is just right for a cat. Everyone wants the ones with gravy, cats and dogs. Though for the classic, it's only Pumpkin who wants it. In their defense though, they were raised just having shredded food not Pate. I am all for quality nutrition for my pets, and this is a great option.

Extremely upset!

The box was very damaged and someone taped it back together. It was one can short and about six were very dinted in , I would never get such damaged cans . They can be spoiled or contaminated. My cats normally eat and love this brand but they took one smell and walked away. There must have been contaminated on the outside of the can . The manager refunded my returning this but I’m still upset . I am disabled and so glad I can order on my app and it is brought to my car . I really can’t thank Target enough for this type of service. After years of very good service from Target I’m sorry for the complaint. My cats are precious to me and it really shook me that one careless and reckless employee might cause my cats to get sick. My cat liked it but...

My cat Shelby is quite the picky eater (she is a seafood lover and only really likes pate). She is on a diet of strictly wet food due to having a full mouth extraction (she had absolutely zero desire for dry food after that). She isn't a big eater so I liked the small cans. I was feeding it to her for a few months and noticed she was having hair balls constantly. She acted like she didn't feel well and was just grumpy. I really couldn't pin point what was causing this. She was eating 3 cans of this a day and realized how expensive it was and needed a cheaper option. I tried Meow Mix 2.75oz cups and 9 Lives 5.5oz cans, despite the bigger size. She acted completely different and no more hair balls. My cat won't eat anything else

If you’re reading this then your cat is probably picky like mine. I love my cat and want her to enjoy her food, so I’ve tried several different brands and flavors. The fancy feast seafood with gravy is the only ones that she’ll NEVER snub. These cans are packed with gravy. The chunks of meat are pretty large, so I dice them up before serving. Tip: If you store these in the fridge, just add a couple drops of hot water and mix. It will create more gravy and your cats will thank you! She likes each of these flavors, but the Tuna is probably her favorite.

Nothing Fishy Here!

My cats were able to try Fancy Feast Grilled Seafood Feast in Gravy as a free sample in exchange for my honest opinion. I was a bit skeptical that they would like it, as they are creatures of habit (an adult and senior) and are a bit picky. They eat dry kibble with a pate or gravy mixed in. That is thus how I served this item to them, and they gobbled it down voraciously! My slow eater even licked his bowl clean and came pawing at me for more. The chunks of seafood are recognizable, and a nice contrast to the slightly thick gravy. It mixes easily with kibble, but I think it could also be easily served on its own. The scent, although reminiscent of the ocean, wasn’t overly fishy or overwhelming, more of a compliment to their kibble. My cat LOVED all 3 flavors! I've been buying single cans from different brands just to give him the opportunity to experience the different tastes and textures. This is the 1st time in years eating canned food and since he's 13 years old with sensitive teeth I decided to switch him to wet food. He definitely picked Fancy Feast pate food. He LOVED the "petites" but I decided to buy the FF pate canned food because they're more convenient. He wasn't too crazy for the grilled or gravy ones. These are the best! I wish they would be available for in store purchase.

Hi. My name is Sunny. I'm a cat. Fancy Feast Classic Pate is my favorite wet food. I prefer most of the seafood flavors. In this collection I get Cod, Sole and Shrimp Feast, Savory Salmon Feast and Ocean Whitefish and Tuna Feast. Meow delicious! My favorite is the Cod, Sole and Shrimp Feast. I must admit sometimes the Savory Salmon Feast upsets my little cat tummy. Must be too rich for me. (After all I used to be a street cat.) Ocean Whitefish and Tuna is good. I eat only half a can in the mornings and then at night I have dry food. So even though the cans are small. I get 2 breakfasts'. It's how I keep my purrfect shape.

helped Yodi still have his Fancy Feast

My Friend, and Cat, Yodi has been eating Purina Grilled Fancy Feast wet cat food for all of his, 16 years of, life, sadly he developed a disease called feline acidosis, and was no longer able to eat any cat food that have wheat or any other grains in it. I then saw that this pate version of fancy feast stated that it contained zero wheat glucose and zero grains. I tried it, and it worked out fine. Yodi no longer has these terrible acid attacks. It got so bad that the Oder from his acidosis would start my stomach acid boiling...anyway this is the product that Yodi eats now, and he is once again a happy Cat.
