So if I'm nitpicking, I would suggest making the flakes of meat about half their current size. What could it hurt? Furthermore, moreso lately I've noticed a few pieces throughout each can seem to be massive. I mean oddly massive compared to the other pieces. Call me crazy, but cats are rather dainty right, so Fancy Feast, please pay more attention to your meat chunk sizes and be mindfully proportionate for our ever so spoiled rotten cats. Over the years, I can definitely see some changes, but still a loving and lifelong consumer!

Not sure why - perhaps because Fancy Feast is promoting it's own subscription / custom boxes IPO the Seafood and Poultry-Beef 24 packs. A couple months ago, the standard varieties ( grilled: Seafood, Salmon, Chicken and Beef ) seemed to change. Both cats developed insatiable appetites along with increase in stomach distress. Now one of the boys won't eat the Seafood or the Salmon, which used to be favorite. Prices are staggering, to the point of considering making their food and adding recommended nutrients (e.g. taurine). Greatest concern is voracious appetites, similar to Temptations "kitty crack"...

I’m sick and tired of throwing cat food away because Purina changes the recipe all the time and my cats just refuse to eat. I have three cats with different tastes and it’s not easy to please all of them with the same food. I’m trying different brands and so far I have found two brands they really enjoy. I’m hoping the new brand won’t change their recipe like Purina does. I’m keeping my fingers crossed, so far so good…
My Cinnamon loved wet food as a kitten, but about 10 months old she would not touch it again. She always hated tuna (sweet little weirdo). I've learned she likes things in gravy-- and in 'odd' (for lack of a better word) flavors (she will eat a good amount of shreds/chunks, not just the gravy). The only reason I took a star away is bc this is not her favorite combo. One of her faves is-- and I kid you not- *Sardines* %26 Whitefish shreds (friskies)! Yet tuna is a no go??=:o So heaven help me if they stop making these odd combos! It does stretch the Churus much further!Lol!

Although he appears to like the flavor, he is only licking up all the juice. I wish Fancy Feast would either make just the juice, or do something with the food that would make it more tender. I know it is tough, because I have to chop it into fine pieces with a razor blade. Not even a fork will mush this food. This is not the only flavor of fancy feast in which I have noticed this terrible change. He has been eating FF his whole life and he does like the flavor. It is only recently that we noticed the degradation in quality of the actual food. I wish Fancy Feast would bring back the old recipes. Why change what was working? I may have to switch brands. I would NOT recommend this item to anyone, but for now, I will continue to feed him the juice and I will continue to chop his food twice a day with the razor blade and hope he laps up some of the solid food. What a waste of money.
I've purchased a 24 pack several times. Each time my cats either love it or leave it. This past year I no longer order it with every Auto-ship. I get it now every other order. Maybe the fur kids have eaten too often. I like the price. It doesn't stink of salmon when left in the bowl for a few hours. the only thing I would note is perhaps it has to do with the lot or processing and canning, is that sometimes it is minced finely and other times I use a fork & knife to cut the larger bits smaller as both my kids are in their senior years and have some missing teeth.
This was one of my cat’s favorites. However, with the recent case we ordered, she sniffed and backed away. Tried a second can a few days later, same result. She ate another flavor, so not sick. Chewy kind enough to refund. Fancy Feast seems to change their ingredients from time to time, or else something off with this batch. Manufacturer has not responded to my email.
