As I prepare my soup from a can dinner, I’m pretty sure Garfield liked her meal more. This cat is a character. She went to town at the Fancy Feast Beef and Chicken. Even funnier was she didn’t show the evil eye, when it plopped down in one big piece on her serving dish. She’s not very picky perhaps. Now she went back to her cat bed, and looks to be rather chilled out. This is a easy to open can. No real effort needed. That alone is a reason enough for this human to dig it. Admittedly it smells pretty rank, but it is cat food after all. Cookie aka Garfield is happy, so this guy is also. She has been fun to take care of, for the most part, and deserves a good meal for being such a kind pet.

Cat Isn't Into It

Same problem as with the beef and poultry gravy lovers pack. Our cat isn't particularly picky (he'll eat cereal off our kitchen floor!) but he has trouble eating this. He'll lick the gravy and then leave most of the weirdly textured little "meat" cuts behind, which I'm beginning to suspect aren't actually meat. (They might be soy-based?) We have to trick him into eating this by sticking in Temptation treats. This is pretty pricey for cans of mostly water and a bunch of fluff. Won't be buying this again. Also Fancy Feast is owned by Nestle.

I was gifted this Fancy Feast Grilled Salmon & Shrimp Feast in Gravy in exchange for my honest review. I've been purchasing Fancy Feast products since I was a little girl growing up with my family, and now that I'm an adult on my own, I still love and trust Fancy Feast for my pets. Considering all varieties of Fancy Feast, the Grilled Salmon & Shrimp Feast in Gravy has been at the top of that list for years. My cat is obsessed with it's. The minute I open the can I can literally see his body begin to shake in excitement, as if telling me to hurry the heck up and put it down. Call me crazy, but cats are rather dainty right, so Fancy Feast, please pay more attention to your meat chunk sizes and be mindfully proportionate for our ever so spoiled rotten cats. Over the years, I can definitely see some changes, but still a loving and lifelong consumer!

Gone within seconds! Cats approved!

I gave my 2 favorite cats this Purina Fancy Feast Grilled Tuna Feast in Gravy and they devoured it within seconds and licked their lips after. I think it's safe to say they loved this!! I am a huge fan of Purina Fancy Feast, as someone in my household who loves to grill you can imagine how thrilled we were to give this a try for our sweet cats! I love that it came in with soft chunks of grilled tuna with a smooth and savory gravy mixed together. Because they loved this one so much, I plan on buying more for my adorable cats. Its the perfect meal or snack for the cats and provides all the nutrition they need to grow. They do get excited after eating this and get a lot more energy to play and run around. Kitty loves it - so far so good

For years our 12 year old cat ate biscuits only but the last two years she had been turning her nose up and leaving them. So tried Hills wet food Petfect Weight pouches but the chunks were too big and there's not enough gravy (our girl is a gravy fiend). So sourced some of these to try from supermarket and so far so good.She loves the majority of the grilled variety in gravy and never leaves anything on the plate. Licks it clean. They are exy if you buy individually from the shops but buying in bulk is better. it is still a lot cheaper than Science Diet food which was being wasted. You only get 12 pouches in a box too for $25. This box of 24 cans is a lot more reasonable and at least she is eating what she likes and not wasting anything. My two cats get canned food every morning. It's an enjoyable ritual for us all, and it's important to me that they get enough moisture in their food. My cats were able to try Fancy Feast Grilled Seafood Feast in Gravy as a free sample in exchange for my honest opinion. I was a bit skeptical that they would like it, as they are creatures of habit (an adult and senior) and are a bit picky. They eat dry kibble with a pate or gravy mixed in. That is thus how I served this item to them, and they gobbled it down voraciously! My slow eater even licked his bowl clean and came pawing at me for more. The chunks of seafood are recognizable, and a nice contrast to the slightly thick gravy. It mixes easily with kibble, but I think it could also be easily served on its own. The scent, although reminiscent of the ocean, wasn’t overly fishy or overwhelming, more of a compliment to their kibble.
