The shampoo lathers beautifully, but if you’re heavy handed with the dry shampoo, you may want to use a different shampoo to quickly cleanse the scalp before using the No Orange - you’ll end up using less product this way and producing a significant amount more lather. Best Blue Shampoo I’ve Tried

As a licensed professional, I'd like to give people a word of advice... this product will not make your hair brown or magically make your blorange hair look like a picture on instagram! This is a temporary (but effective) way of toning out some light brassiness from your hair after it has already been professionally colored/ lightened or if you're a natural golden blonde. If your hair is a very dark orange like a level 1-6 (even though level 1-4 really never gets orange, if anything it can appear red, but I digress) you most likely need to head to your favorite professional salon for a toner/ glaze. For level 7 and up, this will work great for you! You may need to test it out a few times to see what works best! Also, WEAR GLOVES!!! This stuff is super pigmented and will turn your hands blue. If you end up leaving it on too long or your hair is too ashy or even blue-ish don't worry.. it only lasts a couple of washes. Additionally, I recommend you deep condition your hair afterwards because like most toning shampoos, this stuff is slightly drying. Lastly, for those of you with a yellow/ gold problem more so than an orange problem, try Fanola No Yellow shampoo instead!

I bought this shampoo to try and tone my golden routes (I'm blonde) It is rich in blue tone, so much so it's blue/black. Don't be put off by this as it is even better to neutralise tones. It states leave on for 1 minute then wash off,however if your hair is golden like mine was and you want to achieve an ash tone look leave on for longer. I applied it through to my ends for the last few seconds and I've got a real nice ash tone to it with tones of violet. Be careful if your hair is porous as it will grab the hair and you may get violet tones in blonde hair than you hoped for. So if only toning routes put a good conditioner on mid lengths and ends to protect the hair grabbing the colour. Use a good conditioner on hair after using this shampoo, especially if your hair is dry. Overall I'm impressed with this little gem I found in eBay. I'm already recommending it to fellow hairdressers..it's great and cheaper than the wholesalers!

I was in the process of going from dark brown natural with box dye on top to blonde for a change. My hair was orange at the end and in the middle. I cant risk more bleach just yet as I dont want it to break. It was in an unbearable state. I tried a toner and didnt help so I gave this a go.It says apply to wet hair leave on for 5 mins and rinse but having seen it on you tube I put it on dry hair on the orange parts and left it for 10 I probably should have done 5 mins longer but got scaredMy hair is not perfect and I can still see tinges of orange but this has saved my life and its not noticeable unless you really look. The condition of my hair is fantastic due to use of olaplex Im guessing and Im going to bleach again in a month. Im also going to use this as the toner rather than another toner, because I can only imagine once I bleach again and use this my hair will be exactly where I want it.I also bought and used a bit of the no more yellowIn the yellow parts, but for my hair dark the no more orange worked wonders.Definitely recommend 100 if like me you are going slow and steady on bleaching and want to tone down the orange to make it presentable Until you achieve your result this is the product for you.

Great Results, Mixed Feelings Regarding Formula

As I am cool toned in complexion I wanted to return my hair to its natural ashy hue for a better match and came across this cruelty-free shampoo. During first use, I left it on my wet hair in the shower for 5 minutes with minimal results. The second time I applied it to dry hair (with rubber gloves because it stains skin!) and let it set for 20 minutes. This worked very well and almost eliminated the brassy tones but... I had to use A LOT of product on my dry hair and it is extremely drying to leave a shampoo on this long. I noticed an increase in hair drying time and flyaways immediately. Especially considering the scent is what I can only describe as “old lady perfume” that lingers the entire week... Based off this alone I am looking for alternatives. If the smell doesn’t bother you, get a high quality deep conditioner, some rubber gloves and you’ll see results.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT! The only shampoo that actually works on my blonde hair. Being a blonde is high maintenance and expensive. I use olaplex in combination with this product and absolutely love the results. I leave it on for about 5 mins before rinsing out and my hair looks great. I use about once or twice a week. You do not need to wear gloves and it does not stain my white nails.

I had been using a golden medium brown Madison reed hair color. As I lightened, had balyage done, the orange/yellow tones really started showing. The Madison reed purple/blue mask is more expensive with multiple washes than this and this did an outstanding job. The first time I left it on for almost an hour. After my second balyage that lightened to a level 7/8 there was still a little orange/yellow hue. I left on for only 3 minutes and the color was exactly where I wanted to be. Will use as maintenance knowing the orange/yellow will return based on my level. Highly recommend. One tip, some have mentioned how drying this is. I agree. I used a really heavy duty moisturizing treatment that I left in overnight before I used this shampoo.
