Fanola No Orange Shampoo with its highly concentrated formula is the ideal care for hair colored in dark shades, as well as for dark hair colored in blond. The formula, saturated with a unique extra blue pigment, effectively neutralizes unpleasant reddish, copper, red tones that often come through after coloring in auburn, chocolate and other dark shades. By the way, you will also need blue if you bleach and then don't dye your hair for a long time. During that time, you may get a slight orange (your hair becomes a coppery orange-red). You also need blue pigments to neutralize this. The shampoo formula is rich in plant extracts with powerful moisturizing, nourishing and strengthening properties. Extract of Gardenia tahitiana, or monoi, softens and restores hair structure, makes it silky and prevents tangling. Protects against the adverse effects of UV rays and thermal damage from hot styling. Coraline algae stimulates the hair follicles and energizes the hair, giving it natural shine and volume. The result of shampoo use is well-groomed hair of a luxurious, rich dark shade without unaesthetic redness. It is most effective in combination with Fanola No Orange Mask.

If you need a shampoo to keep your brassy hair silver, this is a super solid option. I found my hair was becoming more resistant to my usual favorite purple shampoo (), as well as the and decided to try out the no orange line. One wash and I was convinced I needed this for maintenance from there on out - my strands were noticeably less brassy (especially when used in conjunction with the No Orange Mask) in comparison to the tone my purple shampoos produced. My color was still bright, and I loved the cooler tones. I even experimented to see if this difference was from the No Orange mask or the shampoo itself so I tried using the mask with 2 different purple shampoos that I’ve had luck with in the past, and while the tone was improved, I still saw the best results ... MoreIf you need a shampoo to keep your brassy hair silver, this is a super solid option. The mask definitely helps with the process, so now I use the whole set twice a week (which is how often I wash my hair): for the win! The shampoo and mask itself smells slightly citrusy and refreshing - love it. The shampoo lathers beautifully, but if you’re heavy handed with the dry shampoo, you may want to use a different shampoo to quickly cleanse the scalp before using the No Orange - you’ll end up using less product this way and producing a significant amount more lather. Overall, this set has become my new go-to

As a licensed professional, I'd like to give people a word of advice... this product will not make your hair brown or magically make your blorange hair look like a picture on instagram! This is a temporary (but effective) way of toning out some light brassiness from your hair after it has already been professionally colored/ lightened or if you're a natural golden blonde. If your hair is a very dark orange like a level 1-6 (even though level 1-4 really never gets orange, if anything it can appear red, but I digress) you most likely need to head to your favorite professional salon for a toner/ glaze. For level 7 and up, this will work great for you! I suggest washing with regular sulfate free shampoo first and then lather lightly on clean hair wherever your orange ... MoreAs a licensed professional, I'd like to give people a word of advice... this product will not make your hair brown or magically make your blorange hair look like a picture on instagram! For level 7 and up, this will work great for you! I suggest washing with regular sulfate free shampoo first and then lather lightly on clean hair wherever your orange problem is, clip it up and leave for 5-20 minutes depending on the porosity of you hair and how brassy it is ( i.e. little bit of brass/ high porosity- 5 min / a lot of brass/ low porosity- 20 min). You may need to test it out a few times to see what works best! Also, WEAR GLOVES!!! This stuff is super pigmented and will turn your hands blue. If you end up leaving it on too long or your hair is too ashy or even blue-ish don't worry.. it only lasts a couple of washes. Additionally, I recommend you deep condition your hair afterwards because like most toning shampoos, this stuff is slightly drying. Lastly, for those of you with a yellow/ gold problem more so than an orange problem, try Fanola No Yellow shampoo instead!

I bought this shampoo to try and tone my golden routes (I'm blonde) It is rich in blue tone, so much so it's blue/black. Don't be put off by this as it is even better to neutralise tones. It states leave on for 1 minute then wash off, however if your hair is golden like mine was and you want to achieve an ash tone look leave on for longer. I applied it through to my ends for the last few seconds and I've got a real nice ash tone to it with tones of violet. Be careful if your hair is porous as it will grab the hair and you may get violet tones in blonde hair than you hoped for. So if only toning routes put a good conditioner on mid lengths and ends to protect the hair grabbing the colour. Take caution using this it does stain your hands quite a lot so maybe wear gloves. It did not stain my scalp or forehead when I used it but my hands and nails, so be careful if you have nice nails! The shampoo is excellent value for money. It's a bigger bottle than all the toning shampoos I've ever used. And I like the smell. Use a good conditioner on hair after using this shampoo, especially if your hair is dry. Overall I'm impressed with this little gem I found in eBay. I'm already recommending it to fellow hairdressers..it's great and cheaper than the wholesalers!

I applied it to damp hair, but on my roots only for the first 8 mins and then another 7 on the rest of my head. I washed it out and didnt notice much of a difference, which frustrated me, so I decided to do another 10 mins on my roots only and then another 10 mins of purple shampoo to strip away any potential yellow that would be left from bringing the orange down. Its still not perfect, but its definitely toned down a lot. I will probably just spot apply the blue shampoo on some of the still semioraney pieces of hair and then I think Ill be happy with it.Ive always used LOreal Silver purple shampoo but now Im debating ordering Fanola No Yellow after seeing what the blue shampoo has done.
I was in the process of going from dark brown natural with box dye on top to blonde for a change. My hair was orange at the end and in the middle. I cant risk more bleach just yet as I dont want it to break. It was in an unbearable state. I tried a toner and didnt help so I gave this a go.It says apply to wet hair leave on for 5 mins and rinse but having seen it on you tube I put it on dry hair on the orange parts and left it for 10 I probably should have done 5 mins longer but got scaredMy hair is not perfect and I can still see tinges of orange but this has saved my life and its not noticeable unless you really look. I really wish Id have took a before and after picture because the results was unbelievable and I really didnt think anything would help my orange. As ... MoreI was in the process of going from dark brown natural with box dye on top to blonde for a change. The condition of my hair is fantastic due to use of olaplex Im guessing and Im going to bleach again in a month. Im also going to use this as the toner rather than another toner, because I can only imagine once I bleach again and use this my hair will be exactly where I want it.I also bought and used a bit of the no more yellowIn the yellow parts, but for my hair dark the no more orange worked wonders.Definitely recommend 100 if like me you are going slow and steady on bleaching and want to tone down the orange to make it presentable Until you achieve your result this is the product for you.
SHIPPING/SERVICE: The package arrived a lot quicker than expected, it was well packed with no damages. Great price as well! Oz Hair and Beauty has not let me down once in regards to this :) PRODUCT: Fanola orange made a noticeable difference in the brightness of my highlights in a short amount of time - it reduced the orange/coppery appearance, which tends to be an issue for me as my hair is naturally very dark. My only issue with it is that I am not a fan of the smell - it has a hint of musk to it, which I personally do not enjoy. It is not overwhelmingly strong but something to keep in mind if aromas are important to you. Other than that it is a good product that does what it sets out to do very effectively. You only need to use a small amount roughly twice-3 times a week so I imagine a bottle will last for a good while. The directions advise you to use gloves - I haven't done this (whoops) but thankfully there hasn't been any signs of staining on my hands nor on my bathroom floors. Just be careful when using this particular product if you have very light/bright blonde shades as according to other reviews it can turn your hair green - be sure to do your own research or speak to a stylist around this if you need more information.
My hair is level 6/7 dark ashy blonde that has a tendency to turn brassy after exposure to sun. I had to use A LOT of product on my dry hair and it is extremely drying to leave a shampoo on this long. I noticed an increase in hair drying time and flyaways immediately. Despite the inconvenient application, my main complaint with this product is the smell! I love that the vegan option was formulated without some of the usual nasties but I was disappointed that fragrance (parfum in this case, a known irritant and otherwise questionable ingredient) was so high on the list! Especially considering the scent is what I can only describe as “old lady perfume” that lingers the entire week... Based off this alone I am looking for alternatives. If the smell doesn’t bother you, get a high quality deep conditioner, some rubber gloves and you’ll see results.
LOVE THIS PRODUCT! The only shampoo that actually works on my blonde hair. Being a blonde is high maintenance and expensive. I use olaplex in combination with this product and absolutely love the results. I leave it on for about 5 mins before rinsing out and my hair looks great. I use about once or twice a week. You do not need to wear gloves and it does not stain my white nails.
I had been using a golden medium brown Madison reed hair color. As I lightened, had balyage done, the orange/yellow tones really started showing. The Madison reed purple/blue mask is more expensive with multiple washes than this and this did an outstanding job. The first time I left it on for almost an hour. After my second balyage that lightened to a level 7/8 there was still a little orange/yellow hue. I left on for only 3 minutes and the color was exactly where I wanted to be. Will use as maintenance knowing the orange/yellow will return based on my level. Highly recommend. One tip, some have mentioned how drying this is. I agree. I used a really heavy duty moisturizing treatment that I left in overnight before I used this shampoo.
