Squigz are fun little suckers. Apply pressure to two Squigz, and air rushes out, bringing the fun in. They connect to each other and to any solid, non-porous surface, making them a unique species. They flex, stick, and suck people into creativity. Once they take hold, it takes some pull to separate them. They are flexible and committed joiners. Squigz love to assemble and create things, such as rockets, vehicles, a cushion for the cat, jewelry, or even a giant octopus or squid. This set includes a variety of Squigz in different colors, including 6 Orange Pips, 14 Blue Doodles, 12 Green Grippities, 6 Purple Yoinks, 4 Yellow Skooches, 4 Red Gobnobs, 2 Dark Blue Wonkities, and 2 White Zorbits. Recommended for children aged 3 years and older.

I originally bought these for my 20-month-old for an upcoming international trip with long plane rides and thought they would help keep him busy - on the planes, during car travel, and at restaurants. While that didn't really work out (there were a lot of other toy options that we brought along), they became a HUGE hit at home. My husband turned throwing them at the fridge and seeing how many stick into a game that keeps him occupied for extended periods of time on some days, and they're fun for adults too! And they've also been useful in the bath. At the very beginning he would get frustrated about not being able to pull them off of surfaces, until he got the hang of pulling the lip up with the edge of his finger to easily pop them off. So for very young children they may lead to some screaming depending on their personality. I expect that as he gets older he'll get into connecting them together and making cool designs but we're not there yet.

I initially thought that my 5 year old son would be too old really to enjoy Squigz, so I was surprised when it was one of the very few toys he asked for by name for Christmas this year. A classmate had a few in hand while he was being dropped off for school one day, which is how my son learned of them. We have a new baby in the household as well, and I think that Squigz will be one of the first toys that the two kids can play with together. A very simple toy, but / and evidently kids love it. Note that the package (sort of a lightbulb shape) was extremely difficult for "Santa" to wrap.

I originally purchased 2 of these sets to give to my 3 grandsons for Christmas. My plan was to separate the 100 Squigz into 3 packages, but when they arrived and I saw the adorable bubble container, I knew I had to have one for each child! So I went to my local Fat Brain Toys and grabbed their last one! The boys have had so much fun throwing them on the door and having them stick, building with them, etc. They are so bright and colorful, and so interesting! They are such good quality, which is hard to find these days. Kind of pricey but well worth it! They will be a toy that lasts at our house!

We purchased the pack of 50 Squigz for our 5-year-old daughter. She loves building things and crafting with all kinds of materials. It is a bonus that they are so sturdy and easily cleaned. The only negative thing I have to say about them is that the suckers do not always hold well. The video shows a little girl with a necklace of the Squigz. I am not certain how she manages to do that. W
