For me, these blades are the best.Super sharp, they really 'snick' through the facial hair.I've tried a lot of different brands and heaps of free samples, but nothing seems to compare to theclean, sharp shave these blades give.I've decided to end my search for the best blade and simply buy 200 of these little beauties.

Best razors for coarse beards. After sampling numerous razors ( get a sample pack) I found these which give me the closest of shaves with no razor burn or irritation. People advise caution with feather blades so I am glad I did my test of less sharp blades to perfect my technique. No cuts after about 3 months !

Feather blades are some of the most prestigious types and for good reason. The blades are incredibly sharp and long-lasting, so buying a bulk pack is a smart move for both novices and experts in wet shaving. Each blade comes out to about $0.34 which is more than other brands like Astra but still cheaper than cartridges. The sleeve comes with 20 miniature packs that have their own blade bank. It has a hole punch so you can hang it on the wall barber shop-style. Shippping took about a week and USPS couldn't provide tracking updates but that's not Fendrihan's fault. Would definitely buy again once I somehow use all 200 blades.

These are known for being the sharpest double edge blades made and they do not disappoint. The level of comfort is dependent on the particular razor used, and I pair these with a milder shaver, although some have no problem using them in a more aggressive type. The number of shaves you can get depend on your beard type and growth, but I only use any blade three or four times at the most. They are more expensive than most other brands but are worth it in my mind, although I also use others in various razors.Highly recommended by me.
I prefer sharp blades in my Henson AL13 Mild for head shaving. The Feather blades do not disappoint! Excellent performance and smooth. The only downside is the price of Feather blades compared to other brands. However, I bought two 100pks because these were a very good deal compared to prices I've seen elsewhere.
I bought the sampler and after my learning period I went through each blade again and came to the conclusion that this was my favorite. The blade can get a very close shave but doesn't feel that aggressive. Smooth shave, gets close but has some forgiveness when cornering or hitting sensitive areas. I really enjoy the plastic cartridge they come in as well so you have a place to discard the blades once used.
My top choice for my standard closed comb razor. They are flexible and sharp. Ive tried many brands and will stick with these. They have a great reputation. Now I did try them with my open comb razor and they didnt work as well with it. That type of razor might need a stiffer blade. So I use a different brand with the open comb razor.
In my opinion, the Roll Royce of DE blades. Mind-blowingly sharp and you get ten of them, so good value. Other reviewers claim that each blade is good for ten shaves, but I change the blade once a week. The razor blade is so sharp that it is a bit too sharp and I get a better shave on days 2 to 5 than on day 1. It gives a remarkably close shave, even on tough stubble like mine. It does require a rest day once or twice a week so that the skin can fully recover, but that is what weekends are for. I almost exclusively use this razor blade and thoroughly recommend it to beginner, intermediate and expert DE shavers.
I've been using Feather New Hi-Stainless for years and found them to be the best blades on the market. A friend talked me into using an electric razor and I've been using it for about a year, I hate it. It doesn't give close shave. So I put it away and went back to wet shaving, Back to my favorite Feather blades. They're extremely sharp and may take a bit of practice but the give a great, close shave. I highly recommend!
These blades are top of the line. When I received them I noticed these blades are more than good. I used them with my maggard 3 razor and they were just too much. I looked like I had just gotten out of a slaughter house and taken a blood bath. When I used them in my Edwin Jagger they worked just great, I got a smooth shave and only needed two pases; despite the fact having a very corse and heavy beard. These blades are too sharp for some people. These are not very recommendable if you have sensitive skin and can be too much for some wet shavers. This due to their level of sharpness. I was extremely careful the first time I used them because of their reputation. Now I know you have to be careful using any type of blade while wet shaving but using these is just the same as using any other. If you are not careful any blade can slice you. These dont hold the edge as long as others, Im sure it has to do with their sharpness. I researched about this matter and experts say the sharper the blade, the faster it will dull. Just get a good soap or shaving cream and if you dont have sentive skin and you should be fine.
