I have been using a safety razor for a few years now and have tried many brands. I shave both my head and face multiple times a week. Having very sensitive skin I often discard my blade after each use. the Feather brand blade left nothing to be desired! very close smooth shave, and plenty sharp enuf for multiple uses.. I will buy more and quit trying other blades!!!!

Does a first class shave in a single pass.

I am now in my third month of use. And I just wish that I had change back years ago. I am old and have no teeth left which has resulted in a very uneven face. With the multi. Blades it was very hard to get a clean shave. I brought a top of the range. Electric shaving it proved to be nothing short of beening totally useless. Since going back to the safety razor I get a clean shave in one pass of the blade. I am no longer getting ingrown wiskers nor razor burn. The blades last a very long time but when they lose their edge there done. In three months of use I have only nick myself twice. I just love the razor and the blades.

I’m giving these blades 4 stars because I don’t want to harm the rating with my own limited and subjective experience, but I won’t be buying these again.I started shaving with a Merkur 34C just a couple of months ago, and until this week I’ve been using the pack of Merkur super blades that came packaged with the razor. They finally ran out this week and I loaded up a Feather blade from the pack of 50 I bought, and the difference was immediately noticeable. In a bad way.I don’t have enough experience with double edged blades to judge them fairly, but the first couple of blades out of the pack feel dull. I have to make three passes over difficult areas, and after I give up - I don’t finish, I just give up - my skin is irritated and I still don’t have a really close ... MoreI’m giving these blades 4 stars because I don’t want to harm the rating with my own limited and subjective experience, but I won’t be buying these again.I started shaving with a Merkur 34C just a couple of months ago, and until this week I’ve been using the pack of Merkur super blades that came packaged with the razor. I don’t know. I don’t have enough experience to make a fair judgement so I don’t want to claim there’s anything wrong with them, but with these blades loaded shaving has gone from something I look forward to to something I tolerate. I’ll be switching back to the Merkurs as soon as they arrive.

Good quality blades, but did not receive the quatity stated
13 December 2021

I like these blades. No complaints about the quality of the blades. It's more the transation, and it might be because they are swamped over the holidays, but they made a few mistakes.I ordered a Merkur razor and 50-pacl of blades together. I only received the razor, even though it said that the blades were in the package, so I called Amazon's customer service. They were excellent. In no time, they ordered another 50-pack of blades, and it came soon thereafter. The trouble is, it was only 40 blades.

Samurai Sharp
19 March 2019

Razor blades are one of those items that what works for one may not work as well for another. Hands down for experience shavers or thick whiskers use the Feather Shaving Razor Blades, why because they are one of the sharpest. I used in the beginning a less sharp blade to understand my contours and limit razor rash. Use a top shelf shaving cream that glides and cushions well and you will love these blades.

Sharp. Sharp. Sharp.
29 January 2020

Bought these to use with my Merkur safety razor, after getting sick of expensive cartridge razors. I'll never go back to my 3,4,5,6,7 ect blade cartridges. A 50 pack lasted me a year so far, after changing blades after 3-4 shaves. Way sharper than cartridges and much more economical.

Super Sharp!
14 March 2018

If you like to shave with a double edge safety razor Feather makes the sharpest blade you can buy period! I have been in the "Beauty Business" (cutting and coloring hair) for 39 yrs. I have used Feather blades in my hair cutting razors as long as I can remember. If you take care if these blades,(cleaning and drying after use) they stay sharp a long time! When one of these is a month old it's still sharper than a new Russian brand blade!

The blades are legit but only worth the extra cost if you need insanely sharp
6 May 2022

The first pack of five blades I tried seemed to have a defective blade but after some more use, the rest have been fine. These blades are extremely sharp and long-lasting but they are four times more expensive than other blades like Persona or Derby that are easier on your skin. These may be good for very tough hair but otherwise, it is probably better to change your blade more often and save some money.

The sharpest DE blade around
7 September 2020

Feathers have earned their title as the sharpest DE blade around. These blades can make a mild razor seem like a new razor all together, but can also make an aggressive razor unbearable. As with most blades, the insane sharpness lasts a shave or two, but this is where the Feather shines as it becomes a more versatile blade when it begins to dull, giving a smooth shave with less risk of nicks. Not recommended for a beginner

once u use it you won't use any other brand-have tons of other brand(even the so called German ones) that I never use. and on my rough beard keeps sharpness longer than any other blade including Gillette. that makes it the least expensive u can get. other brands I can only use once and aren't nearly as sharp
