The extra cushion goes a long way for the higher distance hikes. I think the shorter distances are great for the ultra light, but I wouldn’t risk it for longer distances because the material is so thin that you risk rubbing, which risks blisters. I think the high performance is the go to, you won’t get blisters because the socks still form well enough to your feet to prevent them!

These are my go-to summer socks. They fit the foot perfectly and provide significant cushioning. I always walk on trails in large public parks. The quarter crew keeps leaves and trail debris off my skin and out of my sneakers, and the pure white color makes it easy to check for ticks.I love them.

Was recommended this company by running friends and a local running shop so my expectations were set very high. Received them today and went on a simple 4 mile walk only to have sizable blisters and what appeared to worn out cushioning. The shoes were well broken in and lace locked so the foot could not slide. I'm at a loss here.

I have purchased features in the past at my favorite running shoe store. I am 71 years young and have competed in triathlons and trained year round for 19 years. Socks and shoes are very important and features fit the job! They cushion my feet in the right places and provide support and make running more enjoyable (if it can be, not my favorite part of triathlons!) Just last Saturday February 17th I did a 5k with my 5 year old beagle Gracie in 16 degrees!!

I am a runner and have tried so many different socks to get rid of blisters and these are the absolute best. I used to get horrible blisters on the inside of my foot between my arch and big toe and haven't got any with these. I bought one pair to try out but will be going back to buy a pack they are so amazing.
I have been wearing these socks for over 30 years just about every single day. I have retired only 2 pairs EVER, not from holes but from being overstretched (thanks to my bro). These are just the best socks EVER!!!!! Great for the gym, running, etc. Perfect amount of stretch and compression for most any activity and I have always washed them in the washer on normal or hot with bleach sometimes too. Do not hesitate if you are contemplating buying these. I love that they are available in black too!!
I called and asked for recommendations for my FAST PACED job in steel toe boots. These did NOT work. They slide front to back I. The boots. I have blisters on the bottom of my big toes. Both feed. These did Not fulfill the requested assistance.
These are slightly updated from the last batch I bought but they last SO long it is no wonder I missed a couple re-vampings. Super ridiculously comfortable. The toe & heel padding feels delicious & Ii also love how it hugs your arch. Light on the instep, with breathable fabric that still adds protection from shoe rubbing against your foot. Ankle height is just right for me. These wash up great, time after time, and really make running ( & spriniting in particular ) feel so much easier even on your tired days.
