A really good performance mouse mat which is deceptively durable (we have been using this type of mat in an educational environment for a number of years without having to replace them too often). The plain surface ensures no interruption of signal as optical mice move over it and the reverse side provides as good a non-slip surface as I have come across on quite a number of mats. The minimal thickness also means that there is hardly any interferance with wrist and palm movement regardless of the position of the mouse on the mat.

Surface is smooth and uniform, no bumps or anything and it doesn't sag and not too squishy so mouse always moves across it easily. The rubber base is textured giving a good non-skid traction on my desk and on my keyboard/mouse pull out tray. Only used it for about a week and so far it seems to be of very high quality.

A Better-Quality Mousepad

I bought this primarily because it's black, and what I didn't like about my lavendar pads (2 - same size) was that they got dirty-looking, just through standard use at my computer. Black often stays black... One I ordered (of these Fellowes Microban(R)) arrived a bit snagged. It had rubbed up against something in the packaging -- like another product I ordered. I complained to Staples(R), and they shipped me a snag-free replacement for free. Thanks! I hope you enjoy your Microban!

Awful

I bought this to replace an aging and dirty mousepad. From the pictures and reviews I thought it would be pretty good, some said it stuck to the desk like glue. As soon as I opened the packaging I was disappointed, it is exactly the same as the one I was replacing, which slid around on my desk a bit. I thought, 'oh well, at least this one is new and clean.' This slides around on my desk just as bad as the old one. I constantly have to readjust it to the right spot so it isn't hanging off the side of my keyboard tray. Also, I like my mousepad to be taller than it is wide because of the way my desk is setup, so when I turn this pad sideways, the mouse drags on the fibers of the surface and creates a ton of resistance, you can even hear it scratching. Does not lay flat after time

I have had this mouse pad for a few years now. The pad curls up on both the left and right sides. If the underside padding were a bit thicker, it would probably stay flat on the desk.

Great Product./Shipping method a bit excessive

Nothing wrong with the mouse pad, but I feel compelled to comment on the excessive shipping materials used to ship this not-even-remotely-fragile item. It arrived in a huge box, filled with a long row of those gigantic packing bubbles. (The kind that are about the size of an adult foot, each. I was certain this could not possibly be my tiny little mouse pad in that huge box, but there it was, buried beneath all that over-the top insulation. I would have been fine with you just throwing it in a padded manila envelope.

Mouse pad with wrist rest offers good support

I've worked on computers for the past 25 years or so, so I'm getting a little long in the tooth. I was finding that my wrist was starting to get a little uncomfortable using a mouse without a mouse pad. So I bought a Fellowes microban mousepad with a wrist rest, which I didn't see listed on the drop down. The bottom is a "sticky" vinyl type substance, which helps to keep it from moving around. The top is soft and cushy, yet supports my wrist right where I need it. I work at home, so the microban isn't really an issue (and in fact, all that microban in the environment is contributing to antibiotic resistance, but that's another story.) Anyway, I'm pleased with it.

Mousepad with Wrist Rest

I purchased the Microban mousepad with the Wrist Rest. I’ve been using this mousepad for about 7 weeks. The foam wrist rest has been very supportive and comfortable. And, the backing on the mousepad does keep it from sliding around. However, I am disappointed that after only 7 weeks, the fabric covering the pad has lifted and has pulled away from the wrist rest at the bottom of the pad and also the fabric at the top edge is lifting and pulling away. It appears that the “FoamFusion Technology” has failed on this mousepad.

Nice Mouse pad

The surface is smooth and the mouse glides easy accross the surface. The bottom side is made of nonslip rubber and does not move when you move your mouse. I really like the fact that Microban is infused in the pad to help keep germs at bay. Yes I would recommend this product.

Very satistactory product!

This is an excellent mouse mat. Just the right amount of friction for very accurate movement. I ordered it it on Friday expecting normal delivery the following Monday but it arrived early the next day on Saturday morning. Well done Mighty Ape!
