I just switched it on, inserted papers to shred, and it did all the work for me. I'm on my third shredder in 20+ years. This is the one I've been looking for! Not only is is quiet, it's efficient and chops up the paper into little bits. That not only is a security plus, it takes up less room in the bag so you can shred a lot more paper than the old single cut ones or cross-cut ones, both of which I've had.The biggest draw back to this shredder is not a big deal. I just bought this today and it does an amazing job. It’s unbelievable!!! The pieces are so micro small. If someone wants to put these together. Good luck to them. There is NO way they will put the pieces together.Also this runs so quiet. Has great safety features.Recommend buying the oil sheets just to keep it running in tip top shape.So if you want a great shredder this one is for you.It’s AWESOME!!!
This shredder was received as a replacement for another brand of shredder that wasn't working well. This shredder really is fantastic. It takes up minimal space for the amount of shredded paper that it will hold in its bin. it is super quiet and does not frequently jam, as my other shredder did very frequently. It is extremely easy to use and has Intellibar technology. It has an infrared sensor that was designed to prevent injuries if it senses fingers or pets that may be too close. It has nice advanced features, such as an overheating indicator, a bin full indicator, and a capacity indicator. These are extremely helpful, making you aware of why the shredder may not be working. I love this shredder. It is on wheels, which makes it easy to move around. The display buttons are very easy to understand. Great features. The light changes from green to yellow or red when shredding to indicate if there is too much paper. There is a light that comes on when the motor needs to cool down. The paper is shredded into small little squares. This will shred staples which my 3 year old was very excited about. Every day he wants to shred papers. The best feature for me is that when my child's putting paper in, if his fingers get near the paper opening, it shuts off for a few seconds until he moves his hand. Came with bags and oil. Overall this is a great shredder and would recommend to everyone.
This is a great paper shredder. I love that it has casters so you can roll it to where ever you need it. It comes with an instruction manual, a couple bags to put in the bin to collect the shredded paper and small bottle of oil to maintain the shredder. This is my first shredder that had bags and could find no information on how to secure them in the bin so I used small pieces of tape to hold the sides of the bag to the bin. This is the quietest shredder i have owned. I had no problems shredding 12 pages at a time and it worked perfectly for shredding credit cards. The thing I love the most is how it shreds into confetti. I highly recommend this paper shredder.
