Ferrogen Iron & Folic Acid 30 Tablets is a therapeutic and prophylactic treatment for iron deficiency anaemia in pregnancy, and in megaloblastic anaemia associated with folate deficiency. It supplies iron to the body, which is present in a variety of enzymes, many of which are involved in the production of energy, and may help relieve fatigue associated with iron deficiency. Key features include addressing medically diagnosed iron and folic acid deficiency anaemias. Folic acid works to rebuild the body's red blood cell stores, while iron rebuilds the body's depleted iron stores. Adults should take one tablet daily or as directed by a physician. Always read and follow the directions for use. Do not take this product for more than 12 months except on medical advice. Vitamin supplements should not replace a balanced diet.
