Yes it’s pricey, but if you want a sander which has the capability to remove a lot of material and give you a fantastic finish this is the tool, I’d definitely recommend it

This sander is incredibly powerful and removes material faster than a belt sander! It Can also be switched over to less aggressive mode which leaves an amazing finish!

This was a gift for my son who is delighted. Great service too.
I was surprised at how well this beast is balanced. I looked at the newer model and to me it has a higher profile and bigger handle. This older model (RO 150 E) seemed to fit into tighter places. The newer model also has more power but this has plenty of power for what I need it for. I mainly wanted the rotary function so I could flatten out panels, this has plenty of power for that. If money isn't an issue and you want a RO 150 then buy a new one (no harm no foul). If money is an issue, then look for a used RO 150 E. They're still an awesome beast. I'm very happy with it.
