I'd heard so many times that Fever-Tree was the best tonic to drink with gin, so after years and years of drinking boring old supermarket-bought tonic water I thought I'd splash out and give it a go. I found that this tonic water had far too much of it's own flavour and overwhelmed the taste of whatever gin I mixed it with. It was also far too sweet for my liking. If you like sweet, floral tonic water then you will love this, but if you enjoy the taste of boring old fizzy water with quinine... you would do well to avoid.

I have now had three seperate bottles explode in my cupboard which makes me think these were coldFor a long time and then sold to me hot. I am trying to find a way to contact the store about this but on three seperate occasions I have had a bottle explode in my cupboard, sending glass everywhere not to mention everything having to be pulled out and cleaned. Very disappointing

Love the flavour of this with Whitley Neil rhubarb and ginger gin with ice , lovely size glass bottle to go with a double gin and ice . A little more expensive but worth it great ingredients quality tonic just the right amount of carbonation!

Fever Tree is an excellent tonic water. It's clean, crisp taste is refreshing. I do not mix it with anything, and serve it icy cold. There was a bit of trepidation on my part when I placed my order thinking the glass bottles might not fare well during shipping. But, the bottles were packed very well and arrived in excellent condition. Fever Tree Tonic Water will be kept on my repeat order list. Place your order--you will not be disappointed!
I first drank this in Finland with Kyro gin garnished with raw cranberries and a sprig of Rosemary. We have to order this Gin from another state, and it's still our preferred gin for G&T. Kyro is a rye-based gin, and it has a strong Juniper flavor. But the Mediterranean tonic will enhance any gin. We don't use lime or lemon with this tonic.
Love Fevertree tonics - especially Light Mediterranean & Light Elderflower. BUT - fed up of the 500ml bottles arriving with lids not completely tightened and leaking. Usually lose about 1 - 2 inches from at least one bottle & often more. Feel cheated about loss + sticky wet bag + frequent sodden / disintegrating packaging on other stuff. This time it was only 2 bars of soap with a secondary plastic seal to keep them dry & undamaged, but this time Im going to claim a refund because of losses. Buying more packs of 150 ml cans (very similar price per litre) but resent that because of extra waste recycling needed.
The new formulation is completely UNDRINKABLE. This used to be my go-to tonic water, but they decided to halve the calories and it now tastes like a diet drink. Absolutely horrible.
I swear by regular Fever Tree and their citrusy & aromatic Elderflower tonic, but I was pretty disappointed by the Mediterranean flavors. I found the rosemary overpowering, adding a savory element to a G&T which I didn’t like at all.
