I'd heard so many times that Fever-Tree was the best tonic to drink with gin, so after years and years of drinking boring old supermarket-bought tonic water I thought I'd splash out and give it a go. I found that this tonic water had far too much of it's own flavour and overwhelmed the taste of whatever gin I mixed it with. It was also far too sweet for my liking. If you like sweet, floral tonic water then you will love this, but if you enjoy the taste of boring old fizzy water with quinine... you would do well to avoid.

I have now had three seperate bottles explode in my cupboard which makes me think these were coldFor a long time and then sold to me hot. I am trying to find a way to contact the store about this but on three seperate occasions I have had a bottle explode in my cupboard, sending glass everywhere not to mention everything having to be pulled out and cleaned. Very disappointing

The bottle slipped and banged the worktop. It exploded everywhere. As I brushed it up I was horrified how thin these bottles are. Be very careful.

Love Fevertree tonics - especially Light Mediterranean & Light Elderflower. BUT - fed up of the 500ml bottles arriving with lids not completely tightened and leaking. Usually lose about 1 - 2 inches from at least one bottle & often more. Feel cheated about loss + sticky wet bag + frequent sodden / disintegrating packaging on other stuff. This time it was only 2 bars of soap with a secondary plastic seal to keep them dry & undamaged, but this time Im going to claim a refund because of losses. Buying more packs of 150 ml cans (very similar price per litre) but resent that because of extra waste recycling needed.
We much prefer this non-light version of the Fever Tree Mediterranean tonic as it tastes much nicer with the gins we like. Please can we have the cans of this non-light version back as an option. We are limited to buying the bottles.
Normally low calorie or light means you can taste the sweetener substitute in the tonic. You cant with Fever-Tree. Its a great mixer with a much more pleasant flavour than other "Light" tonic waters.
This is my Fever Tree Tonic of choice - it is light and uncomplicated. Most of all it does NOT contain the sweetener Aspartame, which is toxic.I prefer this basic flavour to all the other options.
I was moved to write my first ever review in order to hopefully stop you making the same two mistakes I did - listening to the other reviewers, and not tasting it before I wasted two generous measures of Tanqueray 10 on this floral abomination. How anyone can truly say they like this stuff, I don't know. Big fan of the other FT tonics, especially the light, but the horribly synthetic floral flavour of this utterly dominates and ruins all that makes a good gin. Thrown the other two bottles down the sink.
Lots of artisan tonics available, but this one has the nicest tones to my taste. small bottles are also perfect for occasional use, instead of opening a large bottle only to leave it languishing and going flat over time.
