I originally ordered this jacket in a medium, the same size as all my scrubs. It was way too tight in the belly area (i’m 5’ 9” and 170lbs. I’m 45 with that little mom pooch). Sent it back. Large wasn’t comfortable enough either. I had to get the jacket in an XL for it to be completely comfortable. Fit is fantastic. I have long arms, and the sleeves are nice and long. Best fitting jacket all around that I own.

I just started a new job and needed scrubs. I immediately went to figs because I have only ever heard good things. Some of the reviews were confusing me, and making me question the quality. But I ordered some and I absolutely love them. The sizing does change a bit with different colors but not drastically at all. Definitely get these, they are beyond comfortable.

I hope this helps someone. I read the reviews of it running really small, since I’m usually a M I got a L and it is too big. This is a fitted jacket so it is designed to be tight. Please know if you are purchasing this it is NOT loose it is form fitting, there are plenty of other loose jackets to choose from. You can see how big/loose the sleeves are.Also no option for APPs in the occupation section, I’m a NP 😊.
I want to start off saying I LOVED this jacket. It fits great and has 4 pockets which is fantastic for nursing items. I get so many compliments on it, I liked it so much I bought another in a different color. However, with it being a pricey item the quality of fabric turns out is cheap. I have worn it 4 times ( washed 2) and a patient told me I had a hole in the back, which I didn't realize. Then a co-worker pointed out the fabric was unraveling at the sleeve and bottom of jacket. SO dissapointing because I really liked this jacket. This was my first figs purchase so not sure I will be buying more products based on this experience.
Bummed. My husband bought me this as a gift, had it embroidered, and it is too small so I can't return it. I can zip it up, but it is so fitted that I feel uncomfortable wearing it. I am 5'8" and 122lbs, and he ordered me a medium. I guess my chest is too big (36B), but the jacket is too fitted and too short. So disappointed. The sleeves are definitely long enough, but the fit is just made for a narrower torso, I guess. I feel like someone who is only 122lbs shouldn't need an XL, but I will try that size.
This jacket is really comfortable and professional looking. I love the pockets! However the stethoscope pocket (the one by your right shoulder) is only practical if you wear your stethoscope on that side. Maybe make the same pocket on the other side. I wish it wasn’t slim fit. It is water resistant. It’s warm but not bulky. I’m overall really happy and impressed with the purchase though it is expensive.
I was very excited about getting this jacket to use at work but was slightly disappointed when it arrived. I am normally a size large but it was too small so I had to return and get the next size up. The fit is snug and the material is that of workout clothing. My biggest dislike is the collar it’s constantly rubbing up against the neck and just in the way. It is flattering and keeps you warm. I love all of the pockets and the slots for your thumbs. Overall it’s a good buy.
Seriously this sweater / jacket is amazing. Fabric on the outside has a slight sheen/ athletic type fabric that doesn’t pill like the lululemon define jackets do. The inside has a slight fleece to it that keeps you warm but not too warm ! The pockets are next level. 2 zipper pockets but the 2 front reach in pockets are perfect for slipping your phone or other goodies without having to open a zipper and doesn’t fall out when you bend over . Used to be a die hard define jacket girly from lululemon but I am sold - these are definitely worth the money . The quality is A1. They are fitted so for reference I’m 165lbs . 5’4 and bought a large for extra room . The dirty chai color is the perfect orange for fall .
hallo i’m 5’ 3” 125lbs for reference! i read a lot of reviews and sized up to a medium (i’m usually a small). i think i made the right choice because i have fairly broad shoulders and longer arms. however the waist is a bit looser than i’d prefer. either way it’s really cute and i don’t think a small would have fit me properly. i get lots of compliments. and the thumbholes are a nice touch. :)
