Fimo breaks up and is too difficult for a new to Polymer Clay. I have seen where people love to use it and that was the reason I purchased it. But, they did not show how it is more difficult to work with. While trying to roll it either with the clay machine (pasta machine) or with the acrylic roller it broke and stuck to the machine and the acrylic roller. It was extremely annoying! My house is not humid so I know that was not the issue and I did not have an issue with any of my other clay (Premo).
Love this clay! Very flexible without tearing while working with and bakes strong! 😍😍
I tried other polymer clays, and found that FIMO is the easiest to work with, but the most important thing is that it doesn't crumble after backing. It doesn't break if you drop it. The clay was very fresh when delivered. I plan to order more in the future.
The very first polymer clay I have tried! at first I wanted to try premo by Sculpey but it was out of stock so i picked up a few blocks of Fimo. Since then I have tried Premo, Sculpy 3 and a few other brands but I always buy either Fimo or premo.The best thing about Fimo imo is that it dosnt pick up as many accidental marks and its not nearly as sticky/soft as other brands so my finished product always looks cleaner with less indentations or blemishes.
Softer clay that still bakes hard in the oven. Easy to work with and requires less priming/prep to be workable. Also very fresh and not crumbly when ordered from DBlick!

We use this in class with a guest artist who does miniature sculptures with our high school students. They turn out great. the cheaper brands are not the same quality!
