The fins are just too tight. I returned the previous order 7-9 because of how small it was. So I went the next higher and it is still too tight on the toes. Since I already labeled my fins, I elected not to return. My feet size is 8 1/2 EEE. The width of my foot is too wide for the fins. Hindsight is 50-50.

I'm just getting into swimming again after many years away and the coach at the local Y said these would improve my kicking. I'm more interested in getting a good workout than seeing how fast I can go and after using these only one time I was exhausted. I will look forward to getting some guidance on how to use properly to improve. The fit was perfect for my foot and the product seems incredibly well made.

EXACTLY AS I EXPECTED. NO SURPRISES! THEY WILL WORK EXCELLENTLY FOR MY PURPOSE. I SWIM LAPS EVERY MORNING AND AT 78 YRS OLD THESE WILL GIVE ME THE EXTRA SUPPORT I NEED TO GET A GOOD WORKOUT - LONGER SWIM TIME, MORE LAPS, BETTER HEALTH. I got the size wrong, but the return process was a dream. So easy, found a bar near my house, followed the instructions and viola! I am waiting for the new ones to appear with the right size. Sizing issue was my mistake, not a defect in the sizing chart. looking forward to using them daily.

These short fins were designed in the early 1990s to balance fitness swimming workouts without altering stroke timing or geometry. I was a test subject before they were commercially released,reluctant to add "more gear" to my workout. I found they helped strengthen my legs. That helped with swimming, biking, and endurance. The company was sold to Finis in 2003. This is the original design, and still the best. They last longer if you rinse them in fresh water and don't store them in a super hot place.
Quality seems good, but sizing is SMALL. I ordered as directed but found the fins so tight to be uncomfortable. Returned and ordered next larger size only to discover them too loose which then required my ordering swim socks. I will retain the fins but wish for better size information.
Wish you had one more larger size. I am a 14-15 shoe so these are very tight for a month or two and advertised for 11 1/2 +The reason I bought these was because the ones I had finally ripped out on the heel as they were too small but all that were offered. But they are good while they lasted. Prefer shorty fins for work out; I use large fins when scuba diving.
I had purchased a pair of longer swim fins about 6 months ago. While using the longer fins, I was getting cramps in my legs at the end of the swim workout. I tried drinking more water, eating more salt before swimming, but the cramps continued. In the past, I had used the shorter zoomer fins and never had a problem with cramping in my legs (calves, feet, hamstrings). So I purchased this pair to see if the cramps would continue. Surprise! The cramps have disappeared! The fins fit great and I am very satisfied with them!! Thank you!!
I have been using zoomers for twenty five years. Mine are getting worn. Totally appreciative that this product is still being sold. I bought a second pair as I intend to do pool swimming for as long as my body will permit.I can state authentically that this pair of fins is the best and only fins I have worn since discovering this product
Zoomers were started by Marty Hull. He wanted fins that did not result in your legs dominating propulsion the way bigger fins do, so you'd get a full body workout. I had my old Zoomers for many years, at least 30, and they finally wore out. These seem to be as good as the originals. Thanks Marty!
I was told by coach to get these fins as they're not as fast as the diving fins our pool has.... They're still absurdly fast. Other than that they work as advertised. I was worried about sizing because I wear an 8.5 wide and almost sized up but these fit my wide feet well. I don't know how anyone expects you to rate these products after using them for 1 week however, durability is absolutely an unknown at this point.
