Works well, and is easy to use. Note the title of "chest", this is not really a "safe" as it would not be too difficult for a determined person to break into. It would stop a casual thief gaining easy access. For me, it suits my needs, which is a water and fire resistant secure repository.If you want a more secure safe, get one of it's bigger brothers.

Looks good for fire and water protection. This is a placement safe for one damaged in a fire. Water from the firemen also got into a safe. If you get a safe be sure it is fire and water proof. The safe is not great for theft as it is small and light and could easily be carried away. I hate combination safes are a pain to open if you are in a hurry. The keypad on this one is also great.

Just what I needed for files and digital items I need to keep safe.
A few days after purchasing this The key pad started buzzing I removed batteries and it stoped I don’t recommend this product and now having to use a key to open
This is Not the size that it says! It does not fit 8.5 x 11 papers. There is also a suggestion to air it out every 2 weeks and also it’s not really waterproof. I am extremely dissatisfied with this item. Unfortunately we recuycled the box it came in and we can’t return it. Don’t buy.
Can’t fit A4 documents with C4 envelope..
Seems to be a strong piece of equipment if a tad weighty. It fits all the documents I wanted to secure very comfortably with space to spare. I just hope I never have to find out if the fire rating is accurate. Easy to operate.
