We have only had this installed for a few weeks, but so far it has performed very well. I had a F&P 8kg previously and this 10kg certainly takes a substantially bigger load (I wondered about this, because a number of reviews said it didn't look bigger inside than the 8 or 8.5kg model - but it definitely is bigger). The fast spin cycle is better than my previous unit and dries very well - this is great for those items you want to dry in a drier, as it takes much less time. The slow spin is good for clothes you want to hang up immediately to finish drying without needing a lot of ironing, or in most cases, no ironing at all. It is quiet operationally. Love this washer. Had a smaller version years ago but had to upgrade to a larger unit when we had more kids. Decided to get a front loader (different brand). Had nothing but problems with it. Super happy to go back to the top loader. This machine holds so much and is really easy to use. I love its simplicity the kids can do the washing and I don't have to worry about them mucking it up. One thing I have noticed, but it doesn't matter to me - just an observation, my dryer picks up more lint from the clothes with this washing machine than the front loader. Was that why my front loader was always stuffing around Where was the link going Nevermind... I'm just so happen with this machine!

Love my new washing machine! First time having a Fisher Paykel. Works perfect after owning it for about a month now, with atleast a full wash every 2 days or more. For me its been easy to operate, it's similar to operating my LG 9.5kg I had before, this machine has a better Star rating for Water. I feel having an agitator does the job best, no issues of tanglement too. The spin dry is great, clothes feel almost dry ha less work for my Dryer. I previously always washed my clothes in Cold water though it's recommended to use Warm cycle every now and then with this machine to help with maintenance, I don't mind - I'm still left with enough hot water for the day for family showers.

I m reviewing it after using for complete 3 months plus. I must say the washing machine is absolutely a good one. Large family it is great becoz you dont have to run it for multiple times as it can take upto 10kilo of capacity. My wife is very happy now and she uses it twice a week. earlier she used almost everyday a 7kg machine and takes long time. The important stuff my wife said is the AGITATOR and TOP LOAD. IT doesn't takes too much water and doesn't consumes too much electricity. Its has good energy ratings. Spend once and relax for atleast 5 yrs which i m expecting. My family is of 6 members. its a perfect machine for us. Service is simply awesome fantastic. The delivery guy was a Gem. I had a Fisher and Paykel 7.5kg washer which I really liked, left it behind in an old house when I moved into a rental and refurnished. I bought a W*stinghouse 10kg washer which I used for 2 months and just didn't like... So I got a new Fisher and Paykel 10kg machine and am stoked with it. I actually like doing my washing in this machine; it is easy to use, quiet, well balanced and just simply does a good job. Doesn't seem to spin too fast but the clothes come out almost dry. This is an awesome machine and I will now only ever get Fisher and Paykel washers, having learned my lesson. Great Machine.

Some machines have a permanent lid lock but this one only has lock when spinning etc but you can use the Pause button at any time ( but be aware if you wait too long the water will drain). * HUGE capacity - Did I mention it is 10Kg capacity? But the outside dimensions are the same as my old 8Kg. Now at last I can easily wash my queen size doona and pillows NO PROBLEM! If you are short, you may need a stool to reach in but I have no issues and I'm 5 foot 5. * Price - at Appliances Online was a terrific bargain. CONS: Can't think of any! SUMMARY: So combined with Appliances Online's great free delivery, setup and removal of old appliances ( plus terrific phone support from Australian call centre), I can highly recommend both this machine and Appliances Online.
Since my last review on purchase I have nothing negative to say and can also add that the machine balance has been corrected since my last F&P model and even with heavy, full loads it doesn't bang, crash or wobble. This new machine has handled everything I've thrown at it and covers the whole spectrum of laundry nappies, dog bedding, tradie clothes, all the way through to my most delicate clothes. With manual override features, additional, optional spin cycle speeds and way more water levels to choose from than my last machine I feel I am saving time, money and have total control of what I want the machine to do. Cleans thoroughly and I love it.
