In a price comparison for this mask fit pack My CPAP website was in the middle of the pack. I chose to order from them as they had all of the other products I wanted in stock. This is the first time I’ve tried this mask as my local CPAP provider doesn’t stock this brand. I am very glad I took the chance as this mask is now my new favourite!I’ve been using CPAP therapy for over 3 years and the only mask I could tolerate was the ResMed AirTouch F20 full face mask with the small sized memory foam cushions. My CPAP provider said my nose and mouth area is deceptively small, meaning I can’t get a good seal with any of the full face masks they stocked even when using liners or other types of padding. The size small AirTouch F20 foam cushion was still too big but it ... MoreIn a price comparison for this mask fit pack My CPAP website was in the middle of the pack. The downside was I often woke up with swollen eyes as the mask sat too high on my nose and put pressure on my eye area and I always had deep mask lines on my face that took several hours to disappear.Over the years I periodically search the net for alternatives including custom fit masks but there is nothing available in Australia. I came across the F&P Evora mask in one of my searches and I decided it was worth trying it even if it meant I was out of pocket if it didn’t fit. None of my local CPAP suppliers stocked it so there was no option to trial before buying. What convinced me to take a chance was F&P Evora had a fit pack so I could try all sizes in one go.Miracle of miracles it sealed! And it sat below my nose so no more swollen eyes! I still get mask lines occasionally but nowhere near as deep and they fade quickly. I’m so happy!Update 26/7/22.I've downgraded my original 5 star review to 3 stars. When I originally wrote my review I was sleeping on a recliner due to an injury preventing me from lying completely flat. The mask worked perfectly as previously noted. However, once I was able to move back to being in bed and slept in my usual side position I found the mask did not seal properly. I've since gone back to my ResMed AirTouch F20 face mask.

The Evora mask is the best fitting, best sealing, most comfortable mask I've used. I just started using it after over a year of using the Resmed f30i which I had found to be superior to the resmed and Phillips masks I'd tried previously. I was amazed by the comfort level. I use a high peep bipap machine and have always had to crank down the straps to keep a good seal but not with this mask. The only minus so far is it does seem louder as all the vent holes are in the mask where half were in the top of head connection of the f30i. It's a very small price to pay in my opinion!

CPAP mask fitting is by far one of the toughest experiences I've had. This mask has the best fit yet. Far superior fit and comfort than its comparable Resmed version. No leakage at all around the nostrils and the mask gear is lined up to not sit on top of the ears unlike the Resmed. I have a little leakage when my jaw relaxes but a sealant gel has helped. The mask is designed to work best at its loosest fit for the user which has prevented the headache I usually had with mask usage. I would recommend this mask.

I switched to this mask because I still wanted a full mask and had read other reviews that indicated that this mask didn’t have to be worn as tight. I have not had this mask very long but it’s true you don’t have to wear it as tight as traditional full masks. That being said it sometimes feels a little claustrophobic and the hole for your nostrils sometimes doesn’t feel big enough even though I’m sure it is. The only real complaint I might have is that the hose and mask connections leak a little bit but it hasn’t affected my seal or pressure numbers. Best part is it doesn’t bruise my nose like other more traditional full masks.
I was hoping this would be "the mask" for me. But, I quit using the mask within a week. There were two reasons: the expulsion of air is noisy and not diffused. It goes straight out the front of the mask through two vent holes. My wife was going crazy! The second reason was the mask has abruptly upraised sides. This configuration makes the mask much less stable for side sleepers. To give the mask credit: it was comfortable, VERY effective and easy to use. Unfortunately, I had to revert to my old mask system by ResMed. It is, in my case, definitely the lesser of two evils.
I recently started BiPAP therapy for my sleep apnea. After having issues with abrasion on the bridge of my nose from wearing a full face mask, the respiratory therapist recommended the Evora (compact) Full Face Mask to me.I received the standard size headgear (the straps component that hold the mask in place). After using it for several weeks, I noticed that the adjustable straps that hold the plastic clips that attach to the mask were a bit on the short side. That made it difficult to attach to the mask evenly as each clip was being attached.Having a large head size (62cm), I decided to order the extra large headgear to simplify donning the mask every night. This really helped improve the comfort of the mask and eliminate the occasional mask leaks I was experiencing.
I'm able to wear it all night! That's a miracle. It's really well made. But it leaks badly.I've found two issues.1. The bottom strap comes off easily. Leaks are terrible2. The hose isn't circular. If it isn't on perfectly, it leaks badly.I really want this mask to work.Question---it's on sale. Yet there are two sizes for the headgear, and I can't select the larger oneQuestion---how do you determine whether to buy the standard headgear or the larger size?
I was using a nasal mask but wasn’t satisfied with the leaking of the mask. I was hesitant to use a full face mask because it looked and felt claustrophobic. This mask is definitely cutting edge in the looks and feel. It’s incredible as I can sleep on my side and on my back without leakage. I learned that the trick is to allow the CPAC machine to equalize the air into your mask before trying to move that much. The mask will fit to your face easily and there’s no need to cinch the straps tight as this mask will adjust to sealing to your face. Make sure you use the right size mask as there are three different sizes included. I found that over a week of use, I have the right adjustment for my face. I like this mask much better than the nasal mask and the AitFit F30. The holes for the nasal are much better. You feel like you can breathe and not suffocating. I dislike wearing any of the masks. But I know I have too and finding one that suits you is very difficult. I have tried several in the past 3 years. So I think I finally have found one that works for me. The only issue with this one is at the bend of my nose on each side. It leaves red marks there and is a little sore. Not sure how to fix that. But I think I will try it a few more weeks and mess around with it until I get the straps right. It may be too tight.
I simply could not get a good seal with this mask. No matter how hard I tried. It's quiet -- much quieter than the F30i (which I wanted to replace with it). But, alas, no joy. Why 5 stars? Lofta's customer services is amazing!!! The great thing about this experience was the Lofta fit warranty. If you can't get it to work for you, they will allow you to credit your purchase towards another mask - which they did for me. So, even though the mask did meet my needs, it all worked out.
