Very happy with the 60cm Wall Rangehood. Its nice and quiet, quieter than the previous model. Also, it looks nice and sharp and there is a choice of a steel edge of tray finish or a white glass one. Seems to be very effective too. I think a very good buy.

I am not happy with the performance with this Rangehood so I am taking it back. The fan is vastly underpowered. Even steam from food cooking on the back of my stove comes over the front of it! Don't buy one. Come on Fisher and Paykel don't ruin your good rep!

This seems cheaply made and I wouldn't recommend. It also came without the carbon filters which is surprising given that it is designed for recirculation as well as venting. They were an extra $63. When you fit them they are only held in place by one tiny self threading screw so they hang down and won't stay properly in place. Pretty poor.

Found the range hood inferior to any F&P products previously bought. In both design and function It was not up to F&P standards. It also carried no log at all when it should have visibly been branded F&PHowever where we used it fitted OK and worked. The fan not as strong as it should be, lacking a speed upward.It was not the cheapest option and compared badly to much cheaper range hoods. F&P have better design than this and we wonder where this device was dreamed up and made.
It is noisy and costs the same amount as the electrician who installed it. It is moderately effective but does not completely remove the smell of cooking bacon from the house.
On opening the packaging box the rangehood came in the poor build quality was noticeable. The installer returned it and we unfortunately replaced it a more expensive Smeg rangehood.

We took too long to modernise our recirculating rangehood. Having done the homework to identify the modern version, we are very happy with the unit. The service from Appliances On-line was very poor, having to engage a separate installer (who did an awesome job). Unit performance is outstanding thus far. Definitely recommend F&P products, period!
This appliance is being installed in our new house. We are hoping to have it finished in a few months. I will rereview then.
This cool F&P range hood nicely fits into a Kaboodle range hood kitchen cabinet kit. (Tip: Use the range hood small bar (v large bar) or the range hood won't fit into the Kaboodle kit.) Note that if you recirculate (ie no flue), you need to leave open the Kaboodle cabinet doors while cooking to let escape the exhausted air. Be aware that you can set to "on" the range hood side switches for the light & fan. Then, sliding out & in the range hood drawer automatically turns on & off the light & fan - Wunderbar! The glass over the white sliding bar is a snazzy stylistic touch from F&P that puts a smile on your wife's dial. Summary: groovy baby!
