This item has to have been sold on special as it is crap that could not be sold through your retail stores.First issue was the hose wasn't saying attached to the mask consequently it detached twice through the night. Then the chin straps were to long and to thin and the Velcro would not hold.So with the aid of a sewing needle (a rather amateurish job, stitching started to come apart during the night) I shortened the straps but the Velcro grip still didn't make it through the 7 hours of the night. In my opinion you have tried to save money by reducing the width of the straps.I have always found the staff at Cpac Wantirna so I believe had I just gone in store the result would be far more satisfactory.

I was a little disappointed, it is very close to the ResMed AirFit F20 which I quite often get air leaks at the bridge of the nose into My eyes, this mask had exactly the same problem. But the ResMed AirFit F20 has Magnets that lock the mask where this has clips that are very fiddly, and also the ResMed AirFit F20 has a quick clip release system to connect the mask to the hose where this you need to push or pull a tube out of the hose, so unfortunately the Vitera even though as good a quality as the Resmed f20 uses older ways of connecting which are not as good. Also the price of this and all masks are ridiculously expensive for what they are.

I am in need of having my left jaw reconstructed & haven’t been able to wear my old mask for 2 months. I was finally able to get in with my dr & they refitted me for this mask, however, my insurance wouldn’t cover another mask until March, so I bought it myself. I am SO glad I did!! Not only am I getting better rest again, this mask doesn’t hurt my face at all, since it doesn’t have any straps that lay across my cheekbones. Plus, the bottom straps go enough below my actual jawbone, that they aren’t pressing against my actual jaw joint. Not once have I lost a seal during the night with this mask either!! I absolutely love the way you can adjust the straps, not only on the sides of the head, but on the top as well. This mask is a winner in my books!!

A Winner
23 May 2023

I am new to CPAP, and when my pillow mask proved a bad option I didn’t know what to do. Then I read a review by an expert of the Fisher & Payless full face mask. So I gave it all another shot, and I immediately knew I had found a winner. This mask is quiet, comfortable, and amazingly well designed. My sleep score went from the 30’s to the high 80’s within days. I’m heading for the high 90’s now. This mask is terrific!

Good, but…..
20 March 2022

As for Rapid CPAP - they were awesome. Incredibly quick delivery. East to order from, received updates - so service ion their end is excellent. Now - the mask. It seals well, is relatively comfortable. But after wearing it for an hour and a half it develops a wheezing sound coming from inside its parts. It remains sealed but the wheezing will make it impossible to actually sleep. Not to mention- your significant other won’t be very happy. Considering this - I can’t really say I like to and can’t recommend it. Disappointed given reviews I read. Maybe I just got a bad mask.

Machine is a winner

High tech at home sleep test instead of LAB. Respiratory Therapist consult helped with machine and mask fit. Still Viteri mask & cushion not for me. Reverted to F&P Simplus headgear & cushion. SIM card for reporting to main terminal is wonderful and can get daily reports on how well it’s working for you. Not happy about not getting credit for no-fit Viteri. Only offered partial for a cushion.

Review from a 20 year CPAP users: Nice new option for full face users
21 October 2023

I have been a CPAP user since 2002 and a ResMed F20 user for many years, so many that I have marks from the strap on one side of my head. I was looking for a different mask when I saw Lanky Left's plug for the Vitera. I almost didn't buy it based on the reviews here, but I have been very happy with it. After years of magnet connections on the F20s, the clips have taken a little getting used to, but overall this is a great mask for less money. If you are looking for a different headgear configuration to avoid permanent marks on your head, this is a great mask. With respect, I would be hesitant to rely too much on the reviews of new CPAP users. Nothing is comfortable when you are first starting out.The only thing I will add is that my pressures are normally low ... MoreI have been a CPAP user since 2002 and a ResMed F20 user for many years, so many that I have marks from the strap on one side of my head. Severe facial air leakage at pressure of 14+.
14 June 2023

Love everything about design except it leaks like crazy on my face at my pressure of 14.8. It leaks at my cheeks on both side making a loud fluttering noise. Tried medium first, but leaked bad. Then switched to large and leaked less, but still a lot of leakage. Tried over-tightening mask in both cases and it helped, but problem still was there. Just the slightest head movement or open mouth action would start the fluttering leak. Very noisy. The mask is very comfortable and I wish I would have had success with it. I use an F30 and would prefer a better fit than it gives me, but I live with it.

The Vitera Was an Excellent Mask But
21 August 2022

The clip at the top of the frame broke after eight months of use. I did not think that the part should have broken so easily. On the other hand, there are many things about the mask that I have grown to appreciate. It is extremely well engineered. I like the way the headgear attaches to the frame. What I like most though, is how the mask fits to my face. The proof is that it leaves no marks on my face and does not cause the area around my eyes to swell as has been the case with other masks I have tried. I believe it may be due to the smaller size and fit of the cushion. I actually bought a second Vitera because I liked the fit so much.

Works for Side Sleeper, Noisy vent, Sore Nose
21 February 2021

I liked the soft feel of the mask cushion. The headgear was comfortable and well-made. I could smoosh my face sideways into my soft pillow without pain or pressure from the mask. The hooks that clipped to the mask were a bit weird but worked fine. I put a strip of velcro on the top of my headgear and strapped my airhose up to the top of my head when I laid down, to make it easier to turn over in the night. That worked well. Problems: You can't wear glasses with this mask. I used the medium mask one night and it made the bridge of my nose sore. I changed to the large mask and it let air blow up into my eyes occasionally during the night, and my nose still got sore, as if the mask were sliding downward to rest on my nose during my sleep. I changed to the large mask and it let air blow up into my eyes occasionally during the night, and my nose still got sore, as if the mask were sliding downward to rest on my nose during my sleep. I HATED the air vent. It's located right in front of your nose and blows a lot and is noisy. But at least it does seem to blow straight out, not upwards. Why can't mask makers put the vents down low by the mouth area and use teeny holes that won't blast and won't be noisy? Anyway, if you're looking for a full-face mask that lets you sleep on your side, this is worth a try. My favorite mask at this time is the hybrid ResMed AirFit F30, with a bit of extra-wide pipe cleaner wound around inside the air vent, to deflect and quiet the air noise. Good luck out there, CPAP users!
