Since it is a rainbow, I wish it were the 7 colors of the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet). My daughter said it is a fake rainbow because it is only 3 colors.2. Timer should be 30, 1hr, 3 hrs, instead of 15, 30 and 45.

Got this to help soothe my daughter to sleep.Plays a range of music or sounds and/or lights designed to relax and send baby gently to sleep.It works! She loves the white noise and the music, and the lights give her something to focus on while drifting off. It even sends the teenage brother to sleep.Quality of the speakers aren’t brilliant but she doesn’t notice as she drifts off into the land of nod.Makes bedtime and nap time much easier to get the little sleep thief to sleep.Only downside is it’s not remote controlled so if she’s not quite settled by the time it finishes we have to try and sneak in to press the button.

This is a cute machine. However, I was definitely disappointed because I would have liked it to have some other features. First, this machine is totally battery operated. Does not give you the option for a plug which is helpful to move around BUT you will need to change the batteries often to keep it working. Second, it really defeats its purpose…my child loves sleeping with a sound machine. This however, only has 3 settings for playing for a maximum time of 45 mins. I absolutely love this nightlight, soothing sound machine. I love how it is a rainbow and the light is so soft and relaxing. The sounds are actually really soothing and have really helped relaxed my kids at nap time. They are mesmerized by both light and sounds. It is really cute. My older daughter really fell in love with it and has asked for one too. It is the best high quality and the best at durability. My son actually accidentally dropped it and to my surprise it didn't do anything to it. The best!! Five stars plus some.
Fisher prices soothing rainbow is absolutely adorable. They have included a volume switch which is fantastic because I love being able to set the volumes according to the activity. So if there is a thunderstorm I love being able to have this a little louder. That being said I also love being able to have it quieter as an added bonus there is the ability to have no sound which I am very thankful for. But my favorite feature is the different ways that you can have the rainbow on you can actually have it full rainbow or you can have it where it gradually goes ring to ring and starts at one side and gets darker and then fades which is fabulous. My daughter loves just sitting there and watching it create a rainbow for each layer and it gets lighter and darker as it goes as well as when it’s vanishing it starts off on one side and finishes slowly over to the other.
I like this a lot. We have the hatch for the babys room but I keep this in my room since the kids end up in there a lot. my husband often asks me to turn it on to drown out the sound of pacifiers. its small, portable, durable. easy to turn off and on. the songs are meh, but ive only had a few baby items where I actually thought the songs were good. it is a good purchase. I also like that it doesnt plug in so it can go anywhere
This is a nice subtle light for babies rooms. The colours are calming and not too garish or in your face. The sound element is nice (not the most intuitive as I'm not sure there is an actually off button. You seem to have to change a setting and then not start the cycle of that sound/light). Which seems odd and I'm not sure why that basic functionality doesn't exist.Overall its a nice little device (although I'm really not keen on white noise!) I wouldn't rush out to buy this but it's decent quality, not too big and the sounds and lights are pleasant so it's perhaps a nice gift to somebody else.
I was very excited about this light and sound machine but it fell a bit below my expectations. I love that it comes with batteries ready to go and it’s a nice size. When it’s not on, it is all white in color (which I wish wasn’t the case). There are different settings/timers on the light. There are about 3-4 different sounds/music for it to play. I don’t like the light up feature for it. Only some of the colors light up as the music/sound plays. There’s also a button at the top that can turn it off but I also wish it was a way to turn it on instead of fiddling with the buttons on the bottom. Overall it’s cute, but I wish some of the features were different and it fell a little flat for me.

The rainbow lights slowly turn off and there are more settings too. You can have it quiet or louder, it can be set for 15, 30 or 45 minutes too. Its such a lovely little night light to sooth any age child to sleep. I think, using it every night it could be heavy on battery usage but the upside is being able to place it anywhere safely as there's no cords or wires so it's safe to use around any aged child.
We have loved this little rainbow sound machine! I didn't know how much we needed it, but my eight month old has been able to fall asleep more easily since using it.I love the subtle shifts in the glowing lights. And that the sound gently transitions from lullabies to ambient noise.The button on the top is very easy to find in the dark. The volume adjustments are great, as is the timer options.All in all, I have come to love this product and wish I had had it for my first two babies!
