Click collect used and returned product

Really disappointed. Purchased in Sep 20 through click collect from Moorabbin store. All other products in order were good but this item was put in my boot and only noticed when I got home. As you can see from the photos, the hedge cutters are clearly used with debris on the blades and hinges. The product was wrapped in tape to the packaging. Why would anyone think that is acceptable to sell? I’m not precious but seriously! Refund process was painful. The customer service email does not reply and contact number never followed through. Called up store directly to get a refund. Pretty poor customer service and incredibly frustrating.

Design fault.

I purchased these shears in Dec and used them a few times before the pivot pin fell out and was lost somewhere in the hedge. Returned shears and received a replacement pair, only for the same thing to happen again.....in the same hedge. Found the pin this time and had a good look at it. I'm no expert, but can't see any way that pin is going to stay in place. Returned product again and now looking at other options. Apart from this issue, shears were sharp, lightweight and comfortable to use. Pretty disappointed.

Easy to use

Love these as the design takes much of the effort out of using hedge clippers. Highly recommend.

Light weight, effective shears

Was planning on getting a battery powered hedge trimmer to replace my heavy old clippers, but they all seemed too cumbersome for me. I wandered over to the shears and the moment I picked these up they felt easy to handle, light and well-balanced. agreed: the blades seem short but I've given several shrubs very effective (imo) topiary jobs as a result. it seems the shorter blade gives better control and allows a smoother clip. very impressed with these.

Value for money

I've had these for a couple of weeks now, appear to be good quality, easy to use and cutting strength is excellent. I bought these online under level 3 lock-down, so it was difficult to make an informed decision given I couldn't physically see the product prior to purchase. Blade could have been a little longer, perhaps a blade length measurement is something Mitre 10 should add to their website for the future.
