The Fiskars Xact Hand Edger is an outstanding tool that it is highly recommended. We have grass/weeds growing in the expansion joints of our driveway. This tool makes quick work of that problem. It is easy to use and takes little time to complete the task.The edger has a short handle so you have to bend over to get close to your work. That is the only "shortcoming" of the tool and is by no means a reason not to buy it because you will spend so little time doing what it is expertly designed to do.

This hand held Edger by Fiskars is sleek, easy to hold and is outstanding quality. It's a heavy duty tool that's light and comfortable. So we'll made. It's great for all our edging needs and is convenient for other uses, big & small jobs...The other day I used it to get a little root-bound tree out of It's pot so I could transplant it into the ground and it made that job easy. It features two durable sides, one short hooked piece to get between sidewalk and grass edge, and one long with a sharp edge that I use for cutting and pulling resistant weeds with roots. It's been a very useful and timely tool and I absolutely recommend it for your gardening and your lawn & yard care needs. Another winner from Fiskars.

I was out yesterday after it stopped raining, waging a mini-war with our unruly grass and weeds. It was time to take back control!The Fiskars Edger can:- Tackle the edging to a certain extent, but when it comes to longer, more precise cuts, I had to go back to a rectangular spade.- I had better luck weeding. I could use both sides, the "L" of the edger to dig in and pull and the point on the flip side to remove a lot of the weeds. It could manage most of them growing along the lines of the divided sections of my aggregate walkway. Problem - some of the lines narrowed. Fiskars has this really neat tool called the Xact Hand Edger. This makes it super easy to clean weeds out of your sidewalk, driveway or flower beds. It is a stainless steel blade with a semi-sharp edge and a little hook to get those weeds out. The handle is easy to hold and comfortable. My wife and I used this to clean out the weeds that had gotten into our driveway cracks before we sealed it this year. It was a great help and certainly saved our hands and time.
I have several Fiskars gardening tools, and this Fiskars Xact Hand Edger is a perfect addition to my collection-especially as a compliment to their larger weeder that doesn't fit into small spaces. This tool allows you get weeds in those hard to reach places, like between patio stones or concrete slabs in your driveway or walkway. Manual tools like this are great green alternate to weed killer as well. This tool is also great for doing small edging projects. It is comfortable to hold, solidly built, and a great value!
Got this for weeding pavers... Blade is about 1/16 inch wide and very sturdy ... It will work on the wider seams of your pavers and you can use it to scrape the tops of the very slim seams ...Weighs maybe 1/2 pound and has a very substantial feel in your hand ... on larger cracks it works excellently ... The small metal triangle on top of the blade is a great pivot point, when you get the curved side of the blade under the weed, you back it down and the weed and roots come up easily ..Well made and designed for the job at hand ...
I got the Fiskars Xact Hand Edger, 1 Piece, Orange and Black tool and im very pleased with it. It worked really well and is well made enough that it was sturdy and didn’t feel cheap or weak. I used it to take out grass from under an area of fencing that i have in the front of my property. I just reached under and yanked and the tool pulled the grass out. It’s an area i can’t really weed eat because of metal spikes that i put under to keep animals out. This tool was a lifesaver to finally get my lawn looking nice again. I was shredding up the area beforehand and making a huge mess not to mention how dangerous it was because i put those bird spikes at the bottom of my fence because of stray animals coming into my yard while my toddler was playing outside. I really like this Edger, it's heavy duty and really well designed for small gardens. I like is the design of the handle. Most gardening tool handles are skinny don't fit very well in my hand. This handle is thicker, a very comfortable and secure fit for any size hands. Nice that you can use both sides of the tool depending on what your needs are. Works great for those small areas like in between pavers or in my case, in between bricks. Made from stainless steels it should hold up and continue to work well for many years.
