I purchased these for cutting vinyl siding, aluminum soffit and fascia. The screw holding them together became loose and will no longer cut. Great scissors until they broke. Disappointed it didn't last longer than 30 days because they were very effective.

I’ve used Fiskar cutting products for years! From precision nippers to big shrub cutters Fiskar stays sharp and lasts! I was excited to get the serrated scissors with the hand protector. The hand protecter is key by the way as it protected my hand from injury when cutting tin and heavy duty shoe leather. Yes, tin and shoe leather!!! Went through it like a knife in butter! This is a great all around heavy duty scissor. Feels good in the hand and is made quite well. No drawbacks! Try them!
I used the scissors to cut the insulation for my new shop. It was a big job and the Fiskars easily held up. If I lost these scissors I would buy another pair the same brand.
These scissors can cut a little bit of anything. I’ve used them as garden shears to trim up tomato plants. I have cut small fruit tree branches, twine, and paper. These scissors cut everything with no problem. They have a small serrated blade that grabs onto slick branches, but they’re not too course to prevent from cutting a sheet of paper cleanly. They have the famous Fiskers lifetime warranty. I have had to use the warranty with other Fiskers products and got great customer service. Finally, the scissors are spring loaded which greatly helps with hand fatigue.

After reading many, many reviews I decided to purchase these scissors to cut up a small rug that was in my living room so I could put it in trash bags to throw in our dumpster. I did not want to purchase a carpet cutter. These scissors worked better than I thought it would and now I have a heavy duty pair of scissors that I know I can rely on. Buy it. You wont be disappointed.
I bought these shears to cut drip edge for a chicken coup mod, but ended up using them to cut foam insulation, card board, aluminum sheet metal, and composite roofing shingles. The price concerned, me at first, but now that I've used them so much, they seem to be well worth the price.
