Shearers work as described. I’ve had no issues and have been using them for 3-4 weeks every weekend to cut down lomandras.
I wanted a pair of light shears so my wife could trim box hedges and small plants. These shears are totally inefficient and need two or three cuts to remove very small branches. the green element simply folds rather than being cut. They will cut thicker soft material but they have no bite. Adjusting them made no real difference. Its a shame as they are well made and seem attractive to use. Sadly this is not the case. I will be returning them as by comparison with my other shears, they are next to useless.
I have been using these shears since they arrived and they make all my cutting and trimming so easy. I've actually been using them to deadhead border plants to save bending and it's so much easier.
Good soft grip handle and nice cutting action. Was wary buying a cheaper pair than most but not disappointed at all. Will shop here again for my garden tools!
Absolute rubbish - one light use, blunt and useless
Purchased with gift card after christmas, now find they only half cut fine shoots. Unable to find a setting that works. Very poor product for their price.
Bough these to trim leafy shrubs and they work very well. Tightening adjustment is easily done by hand and overall a quality product.
So far so good ! Only used them once but all good.
