An excellent ax for splitting firewood, especially logs with a diameter of more than 30 cm.
Excellent in every respect: log splitting, handle length, weight of head and weight balance, splits first time most times, easy to remove when it does not split first time, ... I wish I had bought it years ago
Fiskars is a great brand and I think it's very good, but it hasn't been used yet. I've bought it for my son's birthday in a couple of weeks.

I was recommended this product by a friend. I am very pleased with it and would also recommend it to anyone wanting a lovely, light and efficient splitting axe. I can now split large logs and blocks of timber that using my old axe would have been an exhausting exercise. I am not a lumber jack or tree surgeon! Just an average size bloke with a large garden and a lot of trees to manage. We also heat our house entirely with wood.
