It won't hold its shape despite the seat pad, and the bottom will sag if you put small heavy items in there. Pwedeng lagyan ng carton bottom for structure, I guess.- Not the most convenient thing for walking around and having to take things out. My passport holder/wallet won't fit in the front pocket. I guess you could unzip the big compartment from the side while the handles are locked.- You have to buy a specific, slim, insulated bottle that'll fit the side pockets. It's real tight in there.Overall, okay naman. Medyo nabudol ako pero whatever. The packaging is pitiful (no protection at all), but it got to me fairly quickly. Also came with a Fjallraven calendar as a freebie. Thanks for that.

Ancor color is just gorgeous!

I was tired of purchasing cheap backpacks that do not last and I did my research to find the most durable backpack out there at a reasonable price. After reading several reviews and watched YouTube videos, the answer was the Fjällräven brand. I am so glad about my decision, it's not only very stylish but also very well made. My Kånken No. 2 15" Laptop Backpack is very roomy, a little too big for me and my daily carry-on needs but for traveling should be great. The picture on the description does not make justice to the beautiful mustard Ancor color, I wish I could attach some pictures to this review so you could appreciate better the true of color. The leather handles and logo made it look sophisticated, not childish like the regular Kånken model. Awesome!

Just purchased this as a travel/work bag in the Green Foliage color. I love it so much! It fits my 15” work laptop and my 13” MacBook Pro perfectly with room to spare. It’s super spacious. Backpack straps are padded and very comfortable. Seat pad helps with the structure of the backpack, as well as, my back. Side pockets are kind of tight. I found I could fit a 24oz HydroFlask or a 25oz Swell bottle, but that would take away space that you have on the main compartment of the backpack. Overall, love the size, material is super sturdy.

Best backpack!

This backpack is a game changer for me becuse I have 2 little ones and traveling with this is so convenient to pack all of our stuff especially on the plane. Very easy access and the laptop holder is great if you have a laptop or iPad and even if you don’t, I love using it for puzzles and workbooks. It’s always great to have that seperate pocket. The side pockets don’t really hold my water bottle but I definitely use them for sunglasses, keys, sunscreen.. etc..Believe me they come in handy:) very impressed with this backpack!

Classy look and nice touch with leather handles

I bought this but I ended up returning it only due to the fact that I don’t like the boxiness of these bags. I thought perhaps it would not have the same look but it is similar to all the other fjallraven bags. I liked this material better than on the original bags as it was more of a canvas feel and the leather really is a nice touch. It has a removable padding in the back of the bag that would be helpful if you were carrying a laptop and you could also take it out and sit on it for a picnic or something. I really wish that the shape of the bag didn’t bother me because overall this is a very nice bag and if you like the look of these bags you’ll love this bag!

Stylish backpack BUT...

The quality of the backpack is flawless. It holds perfectly a 14 inch laptop. Bottle holders are too small, they seem to hold very slim water bottles. The style is minimalistic, so you won't find organisation pockets. Breathability is equal to none, so on a hot day your back and straps will get sweaty. The worst thing about the backpack are the straps, they are made to keep the backpack in the center of your back, they are too tight and you won't be able to loosen them up as they are too short. In summary, DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE about the Kånken.

Stylish understated but unfortch shows dust easily

I bought this black-on-black-on-black Kanken as a work backpack. It's a great size, looks smallish and can fit a 16 inch Macbook Pro separately in its own section. I own another Kanken where I normally shove the laptop inside the bigger compartment in the same slit as where the padded seating pad is stored. However the downside though is, this got super annoying to take my laptop out if my bag was full, even with being able to fully zip the bag open like a clamshell. That's why I bought this with the dedicated laptop section. Though as lovely and lightweight as this Kanken was, I didn't realise how much dust and debris this black big will pick up and it's going to start to look really worn. This also costs more than the regular Kanken laptop bags due to the logo/trimmings/bag handles being made from leather (looks classier IMHO) and the shoulder straps are padded so theoretically should be more comfortable to wear in the long run, especially if you're going to be carting around a heavy laptop. I still like this style so I might buy in a light color that won't show the dust as easily. I really wanted to love this because I can imagine it matching so many outfits but alas it wasn't meant to be.

The Best Kanken

I’ve had the regular Kanken for a while, and can’t believe what I’ve been missing! The Kanken No. 2 is such a nicely made bag. The G-1000 material is way better, and love the leather detail. Such a classy look for an already timeless piece. Shoutout also to the Moosejaw team for the awesome customer service that helped me solve a hiccup I caused with my shipping address. You’re the best.

Work Backpack

I always like Fjallraven backpack. This time, I'm looking for a work backpack with 15" laptop sleeve in it. This bagpack has that classic kanken look with some leather material on the handle. The padded back and straps make it more comfortable. It has enough space for a work backpack. My laptop is on the bigger size, so it doesn't fit on the sleeve. I have to return this and find something bigger for my work bag. As usual, return is very easy and quick.
