Excellent anorak. Tough, durable, windproof,and highly water resistant. Convenient pockets and storage. Side zip is a big plus. Fits a bit large.

Lovely jacket, lighter than the number 8 jacket, so brilliant for everyday use shower proof to a very good degree with extra waxing very breathable and environmentally friendly.

Class

This was the first time getting a fjallraven coat/jacket and when it arrived I was not disappointed.The jacket is how jackets/coats should be,well put together and looks cool no matter what you wear it with.The water just runs right off it and although it’s not the thickest jacket it does keep you warm.Well worth buying and fjallraven have some great products. The only downside about this purchase was that i ordered on the 03/09/23 but i didn’t receive it until the 18/09/23 other than that it is boss.

Fjallraven as expected

Its a Fjallraven product, so great quality as normal! I wish the fabric was a little thicker but than I didn't want to buy their more expensive anorak. This seems a little more trend than function but does function really well for what it does. It supports layers underneath with roominess which is what I was looking for in a anorak. Spacious easy to access kangaroo pocket to hold my baby Roos. All I could hope and dream for in an anorak!

Fjallraven products rock!

I have bought a few Fjallraven wearable products and is impressed with the fit, styles, and quality of the items I have bought. I have bought this product here and other Fjallraven products online or at the Los Angeles flagship store. This item fits well and has the wicking ability for keeping the water out and the warmth in, as you're wearing it. I highly suggest Fjallraven products.

Fjallraven pullover

A decent bit of clobber fairly lightweight. Not tested in the rain yet so can’t comment on it’s waterproof qualities. However it’s a great looking garment with useful features such as the kangaroo pocked which can hold lots of tackle. The only thing I’d change would be the addition of a side zip so there is 2 instead of one. Great customer service from O&C I ordered a large which I usually take but had to send it back to exchange for a medium.

Functional anorak that's built to last

I have been looking for a quality rain and wind layer that will last longer than DWR treated synthetic materials, but was unsure which of Fjällraven's products would be best. I went with the Vardag anorak and am really happy with it so far. I am 5'10", 180lbs and the fit of the Medium is loose enough to wear over a thick sweater for warmth but not so baggy that I can't wear it with just a t-shirt.Several people have commented on the rain-repelling properties of the G1000 fabric. It will repel some water, but to be most waterproof needs to be waxed. Waxing is something that can be done over and over to reapply waterproofing and extend the life of the garment.Some reviews also comment on the hood. This means the coverage keeps my whole head dry (I wore it in rain just yesterday), but isn't the easiest for pulling up and down quickly or for seeing the full range of vision while wearing. I haven't had another style hood from this brand so I don't have an exact comparison, but I don't mind since I am only wearing the hood when I absolutely need to protection from the elements.Overall the anorak is well-made, functional, and (I think) stylish to boot. Very happy so far!

Great for the Woods

A high quality top that is highly water resistant and highly durable. The waxed material causes water to bead and fall away, and the durable G1000 material is great for any outdoor activities. Highly recommend this outer layer. The fit is slightly large but allows for layers underneath. I'm 6' 180lbs and the medium fits a little bit big on me.

Review of Fjallraven Vardag Anorak Water Resistant Jacket

I love this jacket. Light weight and great fit. Still trying to get the balance right with the wax. Got wet first time out. Hoped that it would come with a good base of waterproof and needed top up.Looks like not a lot applied so need to re apply as light rain got through

great quality, roomy fit, seems like it will last

it is heavy feeling, and kind of warm too. better used in the shoulder seasons (early fall, late spring). it is a quality product though.
