As long as you don’t expect this jacket to be waterproof, you’ll be fine. It’s a smart jacket and relatively fitted, without being tight. Best as Jacket to use on a cool summer, Spring or Autumn day over a t shirt or fleece. I’m 5”10’ and about 87 kg and the large was perfect for me. I’ve heard issues with long sleeves, but I don’t seem to have that problem, as it fits just fine.

Great Jacket with Minor Flaw

I bought this jacket a few weeks ago. As you’d expect from Fjallraven, the quality of this jacket is top notch. I like the minimalist design, trim fit, and G-1000 material. One minor gripe I had is the two way zipper which requires some effort & practice to get used to. Once I got used to the way it zips it’s not an issue but could be frustrating initially.

Great construction and looks - sizing runs small

This is my second Fjallraven jacket. Same quality construction and materials but sizing is completely different. I am 6'3", 255 lbs and the fit of a XXL is tight in the shoulders and torso. Arm holes are quite small as well. I can wear it over a t-shirt and very light fleece or light weight hoodie but definitely not a down or heavier fleece. I typically wear an XXL and sometimes an XL and can layer easily. Thankfully I did purchase this for warmer weather but even without the layers I would have preferred a roomier cut.

Great lightweight jacket

Perfect fall/spring jacket. In my opinion a bit more fashionable compared to other tech jackets. Good water repellent and wind protection. I did find size runs a bit small. I generally wear a large in jackets and coats, but needed a XL for this.

Minimalistic and durable jacket

I have enjoyed Sten as a summer jacket. It is very sturdy and durable for its weight. It survives scratches and punches by sticks and branches when hiking off trail, in conditions where I have ripped other jackets. The cloth is dense and sturdy so I can lay down and rest reasonably comfortably even on rough ground without having needles and sticks poke through. Sewing looks good.Length of arms and torso is generous, but the cut is quite slim. Works for me in summer, but not enough to put a large sweater under it in winter. I would have liked more room around the arms and upper torso, without making the lower torso wider as in the XL - I tried both L and XL.

Nice jacket but the hood is the fatal flaw

I like nearly everything about thus jacket. I like the G1000 fabric. I like the depth of the pockets. I like that you can synch up the waste and the cuffs. The front zipper is a little wonk but I'll get used to that. The hood though is pretty useless. First, it doesn't extend out enough to actually stop rain from hitting you in the face. Second, it doesn't have a draw string to tighten it around your head. The slightest breeze blows it off your head. This is super frustrating. I cannot recommend at this price.

Plenty of style points. Zero for zipper

This jacket looks great and performs well in light rain. It folds up into a neat small and lightweight package, and unravels without wrinkles. However, FR has not figured out how to execute a zipper that does not snag in excess material. It can be frustrating when the zipper gets stuck as you put on or take off the jacket…and then so are you. The zipper issue is pervasive across other FR styles too. They need to fix this, fast, or continue to underperform less expensive brands. Sizing is ideal for orangutans, or other species with disproportionately long arms. I’m 5’7, 155lbs and a size Small seems right around the chest and hip but long in the arms.

Sleek and solid

If you have an average build and want something light for all conditions this coat is ideal. It fits very comfortably without a lot of baggy fabric or feeling like you're wearing a bag. It's got a layer of protection but is still thin, with a sweater you're goof for 3 seasons rain, wind or snow. I wish it had an inside pocket but other than that it feels comfortable and looks great. A solid choice, so, long as it fits your body type.

Stylish Breathability with a Hood

Very good lightweight jacket, very highly breathable and keeps one dry in light rain, with the option to wax if more protection is appropriate. It has one zippered pocket outside AND TWO INTERIOR POCKETS AT THE BOTTOM HEM ON EACH SIDE OF THE ZIPPER. For some reason others have missed this. All in all it holds all my "stuff" and has its own hood when temps drop or rain falls. I love the jacket. It rolls up beautifully and is easily stowed inside a carry-on or backpack for travel

Versatile jacket

I’ve bought it in Dark Navy, and I like this jacket. Traditional Fjallraven durability is combined with quite a style. Although it is positioned as an outdoor jacket, onemay wear it not only on a trail, but also around a city. Besides, it is perfect for traveling due to the multiple big pockets. This makes the jacket very versatile. I’m 5’11” (180 cm) 163 lb (74 kg), and M fits me well.
