Brilliant funnel, probably the best you can get for the price. Sits around the portafilter instead of in it which is great, and is high and wide enough to catch the grinds. Magnets work fine on one of my portafilters, a bit weak on the other, probably due to the materials of the portafilter.

Recently bought Flair 58x. Having this magnetic funnel definitely helps to make filling the portafilter quicker and cleaner. No more messy tabletop with coffee grounds spilling everywhere. Worth the reasonable price to make the workflow easier. Appreciate the service provided by Justin with a change in my original order too. Highly recommend this product and CafunƩ.

I bought this for my Breville Dual Boiler to avoid mess with WDT. It has a bit of play, but not too much.The magnets make it better than similar options, and most importantlyit sits around the basket, not in it. This stops you having a ring around the grounds where the basket sits which is a problem with many of the cheap options.TL;DR: Great addition to my workflow.

It adheres well to the portafilter with moderate magnetism and comes off without any problems. It has a clean look and is the perfect funnel for WDT. I highly recommend that you purchase this.

Excellent built quality with magnets holding it securely in place on my E61 portafilter. Bought primarily to help with needle distribution (WDT), but also useful for mess-free filling from the grinder. Note that magnets are strong enough and keep the funnel attached if used with a good quality basket (I use a VST basket). Highly recommended!
This will work just as good as any dosing funnel. My biggest complaint is it sits on the portafilter/basket kind of loosely and the magnets don't seem to be strong enough for my liking. If it did not have the magnets it would probably function just as well, but it is made of aluminum so it is lighter than a stainless steel dosing funnel, so perhaps the magnets do serve a bit of a function. I thought it may have been the portafilter/basket that didn't have enough metal to be magnetic, but I tested it with some other strong magnets I have and it sticks well. For all of you home baristas rocking a Breville Dual Boiler, I can confirm that this funnel works like a hot damn with the stock portafilter (a KILLER combo is this funnel and the Nanotech 18g basket š„). This combo sped up my workflow significantly.As for the magnets, they work just fineā¦unless you want to incorporate some serious stump pulling magnetic strength in your espresso workflow š.No grinds on the top edge of the portafilter either. Nice. And. Clean.Not a fan of the big bold Flair branding on the side of the funnel, but whatever. Thatās easily addressed by facing it behind, banishing it to the darkness of the wall behind it. Or a Sharpieā¦Another instance of Eight Ounce to the rescue. Superhero status.
Works well with rocket portafilter. Magnets donāt work as well with rancilio Silva portafilter but funnel is the right size.
