I bought the flair pro version after a long research. Initially, I was torn between the classic bundle package with two brew heads and the pro. Based on many reviews, lots of research and questions to the flair owners, I decided on the pro. There are many advantages to it. The brew head design is much more refined, allowing the user to dose a broader range of espresso shots. The pressure gauge is a huge help in 'dialing in' the grind size, which doesn't take long, because you have a clear 'target' to aim for. The brew head design allows to make coffee continuously, with no need to cool down, as is required with the basic flair - this alone is a huge selling point and the reason I decided on the pro version. And lastly - it produces wonderful coffee. The time required to produce a single shot, including preheating the chamber and cleanup post extraction, is about 5 minutes. Overall it's similar to the classic version if you only plan on making a single cup. Where the pro shines is in it's capability to quickly make next shots. If you plan on, for example, making 5 cups, it will only take a minute to produce the second cup, thanks to the brew heads much improved design. Overall. I wholeheartedly recommend the Flair pro.

I upgraded to this lever espresso maker from a Breville Bambino and couldn't be happier! The shots I've pulled are amazing and I have complete control over the espresso-making process!Although it does require a decent amount of experience to make the best of it. I wouldn't recommend it as someone's first espresso machine or to someone who wants a quick shot (that's what automatic machines are for).

Works great! Workflow isn't much more than a semi-auto, and it's great not having to worry about boiler maintenance.

I was looking for a non-electric option for espresso and tried this. After just 2 attempts at using it (I don't have a scale so wasn't sure how much to fill the portafilter) I found that I like using this machine and I enjoy the espresso from this machine more than I do the espresso from my semi-automatic machine. It produces very consistent volume and flavor (which has not been the case for my semi-automatic). This elegant device is now my "go to"!
I moved back with my parents for quarantine in a town without cafes for 30 miles. I was bugging without espresso. I got the Flair Pro 2 and a subscription to Trade coffee and couldn’t be happier. The Flair pro 2 is easy and fun to use. I look forward to making espresso every morning.
