Purchased this item after seeing a video of someone using it to pierce pork skin to improve crackling results. The item hardly marks the skin there is no way it would pierce it.Awesome meat tenderizer but donβt buy it expecting it will get through pork skin.

Dried pork belly skin in fridge overnight, the blades aren't even sharp enough to pearce the skin. Will be trying another brand to see if it is just a problem with this model.
