I really recommend it. The first brand I bought, lasted more than 5 years. This is the second brand I bought. It looks more beautiful to me with the most modern and practical design. I hope it has at least the same length as the last one. My dog ​​is medium size, weighs 20Kg and this medium size handles very well. The national ones I bought before I found this brand didn't last a week. All it takes is a pull and it's no longer good. The cost-benefit is huge.

The Croquetteland Flexi New Classic Rouge 3 à 5 m leash is a decent choice for those who want a simple and functional retractable leash. It extends up to 5 meters, providing ample space for your dog to explore while still being under control. The design is straightforward, and the red color adds a nice touch. However, the handle could be more ergonomic for better comfort during long walks. Handle itself is too heavy and chunky. Overall, it does the job, but there are more comfortable options available.

Our previous retractable dog leash started fraying and jamming after about 6 months of use. We needed a new one so I did some research and found this to be a reputable high quality brand. Have used the leash for a few days now and it seems to be performing better than our old leash. It does not jam at all, it retracts much quicker, and is tangle free. The size of the handle is perfect and fits snuggly in my hand. We will see how it holds out overtime, but so far so good! I highly recommend this leash!

BABY HANDS!!

Needed a shorter leash for city walking and wanted it to be retractable (my dog gets tangled up a lot in regular leashes). I had bought regular flexi leashes before and liked them well enough. To get a shorter leash length, I had to get flexi's XS size. My dog is only 20 lbs and fairly calm, so worked fine with flexi's suggested size range.Leash showed up today and the entire leash including the handle is so tiny it's almost unusable. I could only fit two fingers into the hand hold (three if I really squished them) and the lock/retract mechanism felt very flimsy. Best Retractable Leash I've Bought

Something I never skimp out on is a nice good quality leash for my dog, and this is one of them. The price point is a little higher for most retractable leashes, but it's more then worth it. The handle feels good quality and great, and the actually leash feels very nice. I wouldn't recommend this if someone has a dog that runs around them often during walks as the material is thick and unforgiving. Meaning, it can definitely cause some serious rope burns unlike the more ribbon retractable leashes. But overall, is really good for what I need.

Don't bother

First Flexi lead tape was chewed through in one go, so Pets at Home were good enough to replace it with a corded Flexi lead, within hours, the tape had been destroyed, literally with one bite. Have now had to tie the tape part of the lead into knots and buy a chew proof extension lead.Our previous dog had an earlier Flexi cord lead, and he never managed to destroy it, so, we thought we'd carry on with Flexi for our, now 10 month old dog.We're now looking for a good chain style lead, and hope it lasts a bit longer.The only plus side to the Flexi lead is that it gives the dog a bit more freedom, especially as we live on the coast.I would definitely say not worth the money, overpriced for the brand name.

I have used this retractible leash before, but with the cord instead of the tape. Their are pros and cons for each and I haven't quite decided which I will get next time. The pros for this tape leash is: Not as dangerous if it gets twisted around dog or myself; it doesn't snap back toward the dog as fast as the cord if you release it when there is slack in the line; it's a little cheaper. The cons are: This particular leash wasn't long enough. I believe there is a longer size, but I think the mechanism may be larger and heavier; it's noisy; it doesn't seem to respond as quickly to the mechanism's action. I really like them both, but because this one feels safer, I would probably purchase another tape over the cord. It would definitely be one or the other.

I like the Flexi brand retractable leashes, as they have proven to be quality products. I'm not sure however that I like the redesign of the handle on the leash. I have leashes that I purchased 22 years ago, and I prefer the comfort of the older handle design over the current updated version.The older handle is flat on the sides and better allows you to hold two leashes in one hand if that is needed, and for me that definitely is needed. That was this year.I didn't remember where I had bought the old one, in this case this one and I looked until I found it here.I'm going to buy the same one for the excellent experience I had from 2017 to 2023. It retracts very well and quickly, I never had a problem with tangles or having to pull to get it right. I walk well with my dog, at least 30 minutes a day, and there are days when we walk for 1 hour.We walk in big places and he has all the freedom of movement. Finally after a year of leash training my cats, we were finally able to advance to a retractable leash! It went very smooth! I got the small size, 26 feet for the babies. They do great on it. It was a little rocky for the first couple days because they kept getting caught on things but I think we have a little system going. I’m able to hold both leashes in one hand (my hands aren’t very big) and easily toggle between the buttons after a little practice. We had just a non-retractable rope leash prior to this retractable one. I had previously gotten a ‘Tug’ retractable one earlier in their training but at the time they weren’t ready; comparing those two retractable leashes, my personal opinion, this FLEXI leash by far is wayyyy better.
