White Rose by Floris London was Queen Elizabeth II's wedding scent. If you want to smell like a Queen on your wedding day, go give this a try! It has notes of Iris, Rose Violet. Very powdery and slightly floral on me. Similar to No. 5 but more youthful and fresher. It's easier to wear and it's just extremely elegant. It doesn't smell vintage-y on me, it is timeless, completely pretty, understated and very classy. 9/10

I happened by Floris London completely by accident. And it might have been the best and worst thing in my life. The best- I am so hooked on their White Rose scent. It has a beautiful rose scent that isn't heavy or cloying that I feel many others do. Somehow it manages to be both vintage and modern at the same time. I also use the body lotion and shower gel. To put it mildly my house smells like the best rose garden ever!The worst- unfortunately since is a British heritage brand you can only buy it at it's store in London or online. And that gets a little expensive. Especially since the pound is stronger than the dollar. Do I do it happily? Yes. Does it hurt? Yep. Is it worth every penny? I got my first bottle as a gift from a friend when we were kids. He had an older sibling who put him on to cologne. It was a bottle of Lucky brand cologne - the same design over the years. I was just a stinky teenager at the time. I’ve always been fond of this memory and decided to pick up another bottle. I’m so glad I did. The same simple design on the box and bottle and same excellent smell.

Such an exquisite example of chypre done well. Quite a complex scent to describe; all 12 of the pyramid notes are noticeable but they're blended together with such craftsmanship from the reliable British house of Floris to create a stunning, signature worthy fragrance.Sunny citrus and bergamot opens the scent. Osmanthus and ylang ylang appear to be the stars, creating warm and woody, yellow floral mid notes with the citrus and a white jasmine note dancing atop. The lightest touch of musk, patchouli and amber add some stability to the base, allowing the osmanthus to shine brightly. There is a wanting for more of a mossy or earthy note here, perhaps I will try layering with Pacific Rock Moss to create something even more magical.

It is a light fragrance to its kinda expected to need to reapply. I feel it’s so unique I’m struggling to find the words to describe it, so please try it out yourself if you can. It has the warmth from the Vanilla and slight musky but also very light. As l mentioned it is pricey costing $235 a bottle, which pushes it out of my price range. I find myself reaching for this fragrance more often than not. It’s just so feminine and pretty! Smells like a big old bunch of freshly cut, beautiful smelling flowers. The silage and longevity constantly impress me; it certainly packs a punch for an EDT. I absolutely adore this fragrance, and by the compliments I get when wearing it, so do a lot of other people. Bought this last year and forgot to write a review .I buy fragrances as a hobby so for the last two years I have been in search of the best Jasmine fragrance and this is it !!Such a beautiful scent of numerous flowers , not powdery , indollic or heavy .A green , light Jasmine so well rounded I burst with joy whenever I spray it on me .The only down side is that it’s longevity is small . After two hours, it disappates.But at Harvey Norman prices , I can now buy more and spray numerously .The best prices and genuine , so happy with HN.
I received a free sample in another order (for a shaving bowl). I tried it and it was absolutely intoxicating with only the tiniest puff. I looked into this more because I quicklu became a big fan. I found out (independentaly) that it was the authour Ian Flemings scent of choice and he wrote it into his books as James Bonds fragance of choice!!! You can see why. It is fabulous. *****
The first time I bought this scent was over 28 years ago in a 5 star summer resort gift shop. Miraculously, the bottle I received from Fragrance X smells just as good as the one I purchased years ago. Great value for the money and unexpectedly rapid delivery service.
I have a 10ml bottle of this fragrance and it is lovely to wear year round. It definitely reminds me of wearing Givenchy Ysatis fragrance that I had back in the day. I might consider purchasing a full bottle in the future.
