The blue in the picture online looks absolutely nothing like the actual blue received. My daughter liked the pale blue colour pictured and when the bike arrived (for her birthday) it was nowhere near the same colour. Instead a dark metallic blue more suitable to a boy was what it was like. Needless to say I have one disappointed little girl.

This bike has been very disappointing. I bought it for my 8 year old son and the first few times we took it out, the chain kept falling off. After 3 weeks of this happening, the brakes breaking and the pedal repeatedly falling off, I took it back to Anaconda. The bike repair guy has fixed it, but the customer service was terrible with the staff member insisting my son had broken everything. Kids fall off bikes, and he had had multiple falls when the pedal kept coming off. I would expect a bike to be able to last longer than 3 weeks. I'm hoping it survives a bit longer after being fixed in store. I would not recommend it.

Very happy with the Fluid Rapid 24 in Mountain Bike. We bought for my daughter for Christmas and looked at other bikes but were not happy to pay almost double for something that she will grow out of in another 2 years. We got this bike on sale and it is more than adequate for what she needs. Easy assembly, smooth gearing and great quality. Very happy so far.

Pick this up about a month ago on sale for half price for my young fellas 8th birthday. He loves it and it seems like a pretty decent bike, better quality that some of the cheap bikes you get in the major department stores. Wouldn’t pay full price for it though.Only issue so far is that the gears don’t always sit where they are meant to as per the numbering, I’ve not had a.chance to fix that part yet, but have had similar issues on my own bike and isn’t a major fix.
Bought on sale so good value for an alloy bike. Brake levers can be adjusted for reach which is good as they are adult size otherwise. Wheels a tiny bit out of true but easily adjusted with a few turns on some spokes. Should come with assembly instructions however which would help anyone who is not confident with the process. That said all adjustments (brakes and gears) were good out of the box so no need to use a bike shop to assist. Good for beginner riders but the only downside is the revo shift gears are hard for young (weak) hands to twist. A trigger shift upgrade will be on the cards.
I love my new bike. It is white with pink writing, and rides beautifully. I have been talking about getting a bike for ages, and I saw that it was on sale at Anaconda. I ordered it online with "click and collect" in Wollongong. I am looking forward to riding with my three grandsons, and checking out their favourite bike tracks.
It’s nearly impossible to find a girls bicycle this size with gears, so my options were limited. Very happy with the purchase though. It’s not going to win any serious racing competitions by any stretch, but for the price the quality is quite good! The crank bearings were tight to begin with (which is true for almost all the cheap Kmart/Big W/Target bicycles of smaller sizes) however with a bit of riding, it’s loosened up even faster than all her old bikes. The twist shift is a little tricky for my daughters small hands, but she does manage. If she struggled I would’ve just changed it to a thumb shifter anyway (around $30 on eBay) but it’s good for now. Perfect bicycle for an adventurous 7 year old!
Our 7 year old daughter loves her new bike and can ride it better than her old bike. It's nice and sturdy and easy to use, plus it looks great.Instructions on how to put it together would be handy for those that need it. Otherwise we're really happy with our purchase.
Excellent bike for my 8 year old. It is light, yet sturdy and looks good too. Getting to first gear requires some effort as it's a bit tight.I got it built in Anaconda store and they did a neat job. The best part is that they do a free service after 6 weeks of building
Worst experience ever!I took my daughter into the West Gosford store on the 1st of March on her 10th birthday, a special birthday & she got the bike she wanted. Great we had a very excited little girl. Get home & build the bike only to find the hub in the front wheel was stuffed. So we bolted back to the store but the bike mechanic wasn't there. They said they would fix it the next day. So our little girl got her bike on her birthday only to have to return it straight away! Well today is the 10th of march & it still hasn't been sorted out. To say we are very disappointed in the service from Anaconda ruining our daughters 10th birthday is an understatement.
