The Fluke 376 FC True-RMS Clamp Meter with iFlex is the most advanced troubleshooting tool for industrial and commercial electricians. The 376 is part of the Fluke Connect family of wireless test tools that enable you to log, trend, and monitor measurements while remaining safely away from the arc flash zone through Bluetooth connectivity. The 376 FC clamp meter uses an integrated low-pass filter for accurate measurements of non-linear signals, such as adjustable speed drives, electronic ballasts, and other non-linear loads. The clamp also uses proprietary inrush measurement technology to filter out the noise and capture the motor starting current exactly as the circuit protection sees it. The 376 FC clamp carries a CAT III 1000V, and CAT IV 600V safety rating, designed to offer you the highest possible protection in a test tool. MEASURES: Voltage to 1000V AC or DC Resistance to 60kΩ with continuity detection Min, max, average, and inrush recording to capture variations automatically 500mV DC measurement range to interface with other accessories 1000μF capacitance measurement The included iFlex flexible current probe provides easier access to large conductors in tight spaces. The flexible probe expands the measurement range to 2500A AC and allows frequency measurement to 500Hz with body jaw and iFlex.

First let me say that I use this tool about every other day. I work on a range of things from pickup trucks to cranes with mag systems to can crushing machines all the way to shears. I have used this meter for about a year now. The fact that I have to work electrical equipment known for arc flash makes it nice that the meter can be a good distance away from you while still being able to see the results right from your phone off of an app is extremely nice. At times you have to reconnect to meter which really isn’t that big of a deal considering it could be saving your life by using this feature. Also the light up display on the tool is very helpful especially beings a lot of panels are not in a lighted area.. I would definitely recommend this meter to anyone from ... MoreFirst let me say that I use this tool about every other day. Great for capturing data (any data that can be measured with this clamp on) of any type on this unit and downloading it later to any android device using the free app "fluke connect". Very handy feature to use for hard to find problems. Data can be exported from the android device as a pdf or xcel file and emailed where you want.

TLDR: Great general purpose meter, will fill just about everything you need for a meter 90% of the time. BUT be leery about coming to this from the older Fluke 381, all the specs are the same...but the wireless functionality is much worse(Use: Industrial Electrician) I bought this meter to replace my Fluke 381. I had been using the 381 for years as a general multimeter and loved it. It gives you just about everything you need for daily driving it as your carry matter, and having BOTH AC & DC up to 1000 amp on the clamp is a sweet bonus. The one issue I had was that whenever I got a service call to troubleshoot an unknown issue that would have a surprise capacitive circuit(because the customer had no clue). this was an issue because the 381 does not have a ... MoreTLDR: Great general purpose meter, will fill just about everything you need for a meter 90% of the time. The one issue I had was that whenever I got a service call to troubleshoot an unknown issue that would have a surprise capacitive circuit(because the customer had no clue). this was an issue because the 381 does not have a capacitance test setting, so I would have to go back out through the facility to get my megger which has the setting in it. Seeing as how this 376FC has the exact reading specifications as the 381, plus the capacitance and mV additions, I figured it was a great buy. Overall it is, the meter works great and is almost as handy as the 381.The reason I give it 4 stars is because the Bluetooth is just terrible, and doesn't get you very far before it cuts out. I used to use the 381's removable display a lot, very handy for troubleshooting by yourself, I was hoping the Fluke Connect app could replace that function and make it an even trade off....it very much does not. If you have direct line of sight it will go about 30'-35', HOWEVER if you don't have L.O.S (like when it is in a closed cabinet as advertised, or when you are troubleshooting controls from elsewhere on a line) you loose connectivity at about 8-10'. That is rubbish, my ear buds stay connected 90' L.O.S and 45' through concrete walls and machinery....they should put a better BT version in this. Unfortunately it also doesn't come close to the 381's removable display distance either as I had no issues through obstacles with that either at 30-40' (assuming it was a lower frequency radio?). That is also separate from the functionality of the less than stellar fluke connect app itself. So sadly, even though this is newer than the available Fluke 381, and has more measurement features...the wireless does not live up to the 381's practically, and makes me wish they would refresh that with stronger/better radios and more measurements.

Fluke is the standard of quality and accuracy in meters. This particular meter has Bluetooth ability to transfer data to your smart phone using the app. i had no issues connecting or setting up the app on my iPhone. Recommenced for professional electricians or anyone who performs electrical testing on a regular basis that needs a solid accurate meter.

I just replaced my old 376 which is identical to the new one minus the Fluke Connect option and I fail to remember if the old one did caps but whatever on that point. These companies.....advertise in huge letters how you can measure away from the flash point but conveniently put it lower in small print that you only have so much storage space free. When you install fluke connect, it even tells you 365 days free, then you need to buy a subscription. This kind of shady crap will make someone buy something different next time. I like all my Fluke meters and I have a lot of them, but I am tired of companies doing crap like this and will not support it anymore. Be up front so people can make informed decisions while not having to read your pages with a magnifier to find ... MoreI just replaced my old 376 which is identical to the new one minus the Fluke Connect option and I fail to remember if the old one did caps but whatever on that point. I've had for awhile. Not to fond of the carry pouch, wish it had a belt loop. A little concerned about the recall I still haven't checked to see if mine was effected. Absolutely love the wifi mode and app setup. Very easy to email diagnosis to customers. A bit bulky for being a service tech not to mention the price. But over all satisfied. Not sure I'd do it again though. Will recommend however. Seems to be a reliable tester.
I bought this meter for the sole purpose of remote monitoring a motor current (50'-60' away). It's easy to use; the iOS app and Android app work well for what I'm doing, and allows me to export a .xls file for external analysis. The bluetooth range out of the box is horrible; made it 20' before signal drop out.Proceed at your own risk. This meter uses a pre-certified bluetooth radio board with a built in chip antenna. I disassembled the meter and removed the chip antenna; replaced it with a piece of solid core 24AWG wire 31mm long (2.4GHz 1/4 wave). Reassembled the meter and now my wireless range is in excess of 150'. Did this on day 1, so no warranty now. Whatever. :)
This is a great multimeter. I especially love the Bluetooth feature with the remote phone app. I am retired now and needed a good meter for use with my hobbies and around the house. While employed we used Fluke test equipment at work all the time. Top of the line product.
Fluke is a name in the testing industry that mostly goes unquestioned. I recently decided to upgrade my fluke meter after 7 years of service, That old meter still functions so well people ask me what it is and where to get one. With our company growing so should the quality and capibility of the equipment. I cannot express how disappointed i am with this new meter. The capability is there but the quality is disturbing, I have not even put this meter into service yet and in its current condition it will never seen in the field use. While not probing anything i am reciving false/ phntom readings between 0.5A to 15A DC. Do i have a faulty unit or have i just purchased o $500 tic tester?
