Does the job only with a necessary tweak. It is totally made of plastic, so the dogs slide off when climbing the ramp. I added rubber grip strips and works much better. Overall cost is over $100 with the purchase of the rubber grips.

This ramp if fit for purpose to get my dog in my Ute. However, since it will hold up to 200kg I can use it to load other items & folds in half.So happy with this ramp!

Bought to help getting a Golden Retriever into the back of an SUV. The dog's not really good at jumping up, and getting heavy to assist up.After a bit of coaxing with treats on gradually steepening dummy runs, she seems to be comfortable with the ramp.Only negative is that the plastic hook that holds it in place when folded is too tight, and difficult to apply/release - needs a bit of sanding to increase clearance.
I Only bought it a couple of weeks ago it is ,strong enough for my pampered canine has no worrieswalking up or down it...
I have two 20kg border collies and a Pajero Sport and found that this ramp was of no benefit. It maybe useful for a smaller car and smaller dogs. It was too unstable and despite training the dogs with treats and building up the height of the ramp it was still too unstable and too slippery for the dogs. I then tried gluing on marine carpet to give the dogs more grip but that didn't help with stability. If you have similar requirements (dog/car) this product isn't for you. It will be going to the landfill next tip trip....
Far too steep of an incline to use on any SUV sized car. Perhaps good for a very low set car. Also it does not latch or hook on to anything making it quite unstable. It doesn’t just lay flat at the top so you have to hold onto it any time your dog tries to use it. Does not work for my elderly dog at all unfortunately so is sitting in the garage until I can possibly sell it to someone else who might find some use for it.
The plastic is very slippery when wet. There is no way for our old pugs to grip. Regret this purchase.
the ramp did fit our car but our door will not open far enough for it to fit on floor, asked to return, we would have to post it back at our expense which would be nearly cost of ramp. disappointed no return to stores when it is bought through bunnings site
