The piece of plastic that seals the bag shut after sucking the air out has torn off a number of these bags after 1 or 2 uses, which means that the entire bag needs to be thrown out as it no longer seals properly. It's a great idea to be able to reuse the bags, but in practice it ends up no different to just using the rolls to make single use bags

Only recently used them but the easy opening seal and the fact you are not chopping an inch or so off the end of you bag every time you take something out is good. For smaller articles these for now seem to be a good option.

You suck the air from the bags using the Foodsaver vacuum pump. It's a jump, in the right direction... Will pass any inspection. Yeh! The food stays fresh longer, you get stronger, by eating over a greater duration. It's good for the nation. Because we need to stay healthy. Not rationed - but wealthy. Not chucking bad food. But keeping it good !

I love these bags. They are easy to use and help me to save space in my fridge. I can also just use them as regular ziploc bags if I'm regularly opening the items or don't want to use the vacuum pump. Drying them out can be a little trickier after washing, but not impossible. The material is good quality so you can reuse many times.
I love these things. I used to own a vacuum sealer that would never get used - but these little zippies, along with the small handheld vacuum sealing device, work a treat. I've been using them for around a month, and so far have no complaints. They're small enough to fit back in the fridge or pantry easily, but large enough that you can place bigger items in them too. We recently discovered our loose leaf tea was suddenly under siege from pantry moths - so I just placed the entire (untouched!) boxes into these pouches and sealed them up. Tea is staying fresh and safe. Good stuff!
These bags can hold more than you think! They have freed my freezer space up, and are great to use. Work well on tube accessory or sealer unit.Work with fruit, nuts, left overs, meats and so much more. I love the fact I've no more freezer burn, I can read my labels easily. There great for the freezer, fridge and cupboard. Plus I love picking and storing my home grown herbs and vegetables in them.They are easy to wash & reuse including the label for writing on. I was sceptical at first but use them with ease, I use them a lot with no more one time use. So they save me money to. Plus I always keep a spare box of bags in my cupboards. Foods are always fresh when reopened.Love, love, love these zipper seal vacuum bag and wish I'd discovered them & brought them sooner!
These FoodSaver Zipper Bags 35 Pack are excellent used with the vacume seal device. Food can be stored for a very long time in the freezer stack easily and prevents freezer burn. The bags can also be used for refrigerator items as well as pantry shelf items for longer term storage. The bags are strong and can be washed and reused many times.
These bags are so convenient. Unlike plastic containers, these bags remove all air which keeps the food fresh significantly longer. Single item multi use for example, Store cheese, cut off a piece and then reseal it in the same bag. I wouldn’t recommend using for an onion or any inexpensive food item as a single bag may cost around the dollar mark and an onion might cost around 30cents. It would be cheaper to buy another onion than use the bag. But overall I do love these bags for the convenience of making a food item last longer while still being able to reseal it.
Most of them worked alright the first time they were sealed but after a few uses none of them kept the air out. They leaked so are practically useless. Normal ziplock bags keep more air out and don't cost anywhere near as much.
Work very well with the vacuum sealer. Great for dry things like nuts, cranberries. Also good for small quantities of cooked fruit and veg . Also meat( but then I discard the bag after single use). One negative - the bags are too small unless you are a max 2 person household.
