I have been using Foreo for years. Washing my face twice a day before applying my skincare products. Thanks to this face wash machine I don't need to do hydra-facial more than once a year. My skin feels smooth and clean with each time. If you expect that it is going to suck all the blackheads from your face, you are mistaken. But it will prevent you to have big blackheads and a rough skin. It is a wonderful device to use if you do makeup or use spf all the time. I love foreo! I previously had the Luna mini 2 and loved it. With the right cleanser it completely changed my skincare routine and made my face feel unbelievably clean. I upgraded to the Luna 3 for combination skin because I wanted a deeper and more personalized clean than the mini 2 could provide. I love the larger bristles and my skin feels even more clean with this device, which I didn’t think was possible. However, I do not like that for one the device turns off after the timer is up. I wish it would stay on like the mini 2. Also because I usually wash a little past the timer, I don’t like how you have to hold down the power button to turn it off, compared to the mini 2 where it’s just a simple click. I’m not sure how to help that issue but for $250 I wish I didn’t have that issue. I would keep that in mind when choosing what brush heads you want.
I purchased the Luna 3 Sensitive device in 2021. I noticed a change in my skin in about a week. I have very sensitive skin and eczema issues. This device made all the difference. I was previously using the Mia device for facial cleansing and noticed that my skin was having more issues than usual. I really think that despite changing the scrub heads and sanitizing them, I was redepositing bacteria on my face. The Luna 3 Sensitive device resolved all those issues because it is antibacterial. These devices are expensive, but well worth it. I recommend for those on a budget to wait for a sale or during Thanksgiving when there are promotions. That was the case for myself. It does what is promoted and then some.

On top of the cleaning, the massages are quite nice - very relaxing. There are four routines in total: eyes, neck, something I can't remember and an all over one. I've settled on doing the eyes followed by the all over one. Again: too soon to tell if they are doing anything, but it's very relaxing and as they resemble the ancient gua sha techniques, I do believe over time they'll have a positive effect. I started out with just this Luna 3, but almost immediately decided to dive in and get the UFO and then the BEAR - my routines are now: AM - Luna 3 cleansing, UFO masking (very relaxing), Luna 3 massage (also relaxing!); PM - Luna 3 cleansing, Bear, UFO masking. That said, I think I'll be switching the AM and PM and ultimately probably doing the UFO only in the evenings. Whichever way - I'm loving it all and do think my face is seeing improvements. I'm 42 and have generally done a good basic job of skin care and do eat very clean, but have never really done anything 'extra', I don't even get facials ever (I don't particularly find it relaxing to have someone else get handsy with my face... hahah) - as a result my skin is more or less just fine, but starting to show lines and the beginnings of the dreaded jowls (reason I went all in), and while none of this has magically 100% reversed just by using any of this for a couple of weeks, I do see the fine lines are somewhat less apparent, and well - I hope any slight jowling does in fact disappear! Bottom line: highly recommend the Luna 3! It's probably the one product I would most recommend if you can only afford one, actually. If you are having trouble deciding between the different versions of the products, Luna or otherwise, do know there are a ton of very detailed reviews out in the www which tend to provide great info that will help you decide.

My face cleansers do not foam on the brush as well as they did on my old brush. I wish I could pick a color for the brush as it is in the case with the mini versions. I feel the skin smooth and super shiny after the cleaning but I haven't seen any difference regarding reducing fine lines or skin toning. Maybe it's early to notice any difference. However, I'd like to know based on what how to choose the intensity level of the massage. There are 16 levels, but which one is the one that suits me? How to know which level to choose? is the intensity level directly related to the effectiveness? which level should I choose? It would be good to have a scale or something that helps to identify the level you should be using. It's not useful having so many levels if you don't know which one you are supposed to choose.

If there isn't going to be a way to engage that setting on the unit itself it should at least be an option within the app. But regardless of my distaste for the app I would recommend a Luna to anyone! Worth the annoyance of dealing with that app to have your skin look this good! <3
