I was very disappointed in this product, and wish I could return it. For something so pricey, I expected more then a weeks worth of usage that provided better then so-so results that is awkwardly uncomfortable thing offered. I used this maybe 6-7x and then it died. The 600 uses claim is beyond false. This was a big waste of money and not worth it whatsoever.

I don't normally write reviews but I had to for this one, I also thought I should clarify some things other reviews passed over, unfortunately the Sephora website isn't as detailed on this versus the other products and I had to do a lot of my own research. After using this 2x a day for 5 days (I will update review if things change) my skin looks AMAZING! My issue was most physical exfoliants break out my skin and even after a chemical exfoliant I still have the dead skin that needs to be removed plus I can't do real chemical exfoliation in the summer and it's just felt like the dead skin was building up, it was even making my foundation flaky!! I saw one review that the screws rusted so they can't change them so even though it's waterproof, I'm keeping mine dry to prevent this, the more expensive versions are Rechargeable if that's what you're looking for. based on what I've been seeing with this I will absolutely splurge on the next purchase and get the full size full feature one, but I wasn't sure how'd I'd feel, I absolutely love it and can only imagine how great the full size one is!

I had this for about 2 months before the issues started. Some times it would work and others it wouldn't even turn on. Then it completely stopped turning on after about 2 months. I noticed the silicone on the back had completely lifted from the device and there was an air bubble, not really sure what that was about. Overall I liked that it was smaller compared to other brushes like pmd and clarisonic style brushes but wish it worked for longer.
I bought this when it was on sale and it is AMAZING. It’s been 6 months and it definitely cleans my skin better than just my hands, I can never go back. Now, it DID die on me after a month for reasons unknown BUT I just peeled the sticker off the bottom, unscrewed it, and replaced the battery. SO DONT THROW IT AWAY WHEN IT DIES, JUST REPLACE THE BATTERY! It’s literally just 1 triple A battery I almost cried tears of joy.
Luna has changed my skin texture dramatically. I was struggling with hormonal acne (my chin and jawline) and after using this device for a little while with a glycolic cleanser, my face cleared up. No more acne! I get compliments on my skin all of the time. I’m 31 so it’s really nice to hear that people notice the difference that I do. Once I’m finished using it, I dry the bottom off and put it with my skin care to air dry. I think it’s getting close to the end because the vibrations aren’t as strong as they once were. I’m excited to purchase the Play Plus 2 because it is bigger, has longer bristles, AND you can change the batteries. For $59, I feel like you can’t really beat that. So, so happy! I recommend this to anyone and everyone. :)
I wouldn't have bought this device had I known it was to be thrown away after a year. I assumed, like the original Plus, that the AAA battery could be replaced after it ran out. The instructions packaged with the product themselves do not make this clear - only after I looked up the instruction manual on the site did I realize that this was not the case. This product is intended to be thrown away after about a year. Honestly, I don't understand why they had to hide this information. The value for money is absolutely not there if you cannot replace the battery. I also wanted to add that I don't even think this product will last a year.
