I bought the Luna Fofo during the Black Friday sale and the delivery was very quick. I've been using this device for a month now and I believe I notice a difference in my skin quality. I've always had hormonal acne, but the behavior and quantity of acne has drastically changed since I started using this device. This version does not come with a cable entry to allow for charging. One can also not open it and replace batteries. I wouldn't have bought this device had I known it was to be thrown away after a year. I assumed, like the original Plus, that the AAA battery could be replaced after it ran out. The instructions packaged with the product themselves do not make this clear - only after I looked up the instruction manual on the site did I realize that this was not the case. This product is intended to be thrown away after about a year. Honestly, I don't understand why they had to hide this information. The value for money is absolutely not there if you cannot replace the battery.I also wanted to add that I don't even think this product will last a year. I got one of these about two or three years ago, when my face was breaking out with adult acne. It worked fine, then it stopped working. Customer service opened an exception since it hadn't even been a month since I got it and sent me a new one. The new one lasted for a few months and stopped working as well. What happened was that the water got in the battery compartment and eventually damadged it, just from cleaning it after washing my face. I would totally recommend it if it was better built, it did wonders to my face. But for 89€ I'd expect it to last more than a few months.

Unfortunately, I really regret ever trying it - it was absolutely dreadful for my skin. I used it daily, and almost immediately my skin became significantly worse. I stuck with it for six weeks, hoping that it was just a purging phase and that ultimately my skin would improve, but finally gave up on it after seeing no improvement at all. As soon as I stopped using it, my skin started to calm down, but I've still got lots of residual scarring to deal with. I purchased the Luna Play for my daughter for Christmas, and it's already dead 6 weeks later. After MUCH research, I learned that it is basically a disposable piece of plastic technology. Batteries cannot be replaced. I am attaching a screen grab of the product description. If you had mentioned "disposable' anywhere in this description, I would have not purchased this product. My daughter is disappointed because it died so quickly, and is basically trash now, and I am angry that I purchased a product from a brand that does not care for the environment. You need to do better Foreo. I will never purchase your brand again and will look elsewhere for a better product for my daughter.
I was so excited with this product. It worked great until it just stopped. I replaced the batteries twice in a three month period. I used the product one time a day. With a third, fresh battery replacement the foreo simply would not stay on unless I held the button down the entire time- which is impossible to do while cleaning your face. At such a high cost, it was not worth buying a replacement after three months of use! Reading other reviews, I found similar complaints. So unfortunate!
I purchased my Luna Play Smart 2 on Ebay as someone apparently was getting rid of it as an unwanted gift. It was sealed and unopened, so I treat it as a new product. While the results were great and my skin was glowing, the Luna didn't even last full three months of non-frequent use (I was using my other Luna to keep this one working as long as possible, as I knew it was a disposable). I tried to use it lately and it would work only for a few seconds. I loved it, but I feel truly disappointed.
Had for 7 months & initially loved it. Then a couple of weeks ago it started turning on by itself in the shower. It drove me crazy, I couldn’t figure out where the buzzing was coming from! Figured it out, shut it off & it happened again & again & again. Buried it in a drawer, today I decided to get it out & change the batteries. Opened it up & it was all rusty & gross inside. I cleaned it out with qtips, put new batteries in & now it won’t work at all.
